We hear your heart’s cry for a supernatural and powerful anointing over your finances and talents, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s provision and purpose in these areas. The Word of God reminds us that every good and perfect gift comes from Him, and He delights in blessing His children when we walk in obedience and faith. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17). The Lord is not only able to meet your financial needs but also to multiply your talents for His glory when they are surrendered to Him.
However, we must also examine our hearts and motives in these areas. Are your finances being stewarded in a way that honors God—with generosity, integrity, and a heart of gratitude? The Lord warns us against the love of money, which can become a snare if we prioritize it above Him. "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10). We encourage you to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33).
As for your talents, are they being used to build up the body of Christ and advance His kingdom, or are they being used for selfish ambition? The parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30 reminds us that God expects us to multiply what He has entrusted to us, not bury it out of fear or laziness. If your talents are being underutilized or misdirected, we urge you to surrender them fully to the Lord and ask Him to show you how to use them for His purposes.
Let us also address the foundation of your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus into your heart as your Savior and King.
Now, let us pray together in faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your supernatural anointing to rest upon their finances and talents. Lord, You are the Provider of all things, and we trust in Your promise to supply every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Give them wisdom in stewardship, discernment in financial decisions, and a heart of generosity that reflects Your own.
Father, we also pray for an anointing over their talents. You have fearfully and wonderfully made each of us, knitting us together in our mother’s womb and equipping us with gifts for Your glory (Psalm 139:13-14). Lord, take these talents and multiply them for the advancement of Your kingdom. Remove any fear, doubt, or complacency that may be hindering their full potential. Let Your Holy Spirit empower them to use their gifts with excellence, humility, and boldness, so that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to You.
We rebuke any spirit of lack, poverty, or misuse of resources in Jesus’ name. We declare that this child of God is not subject to the curse of the law but is blessed in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:13-14). We speak life, abundance, and purpose over their finances and talents, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Lord, if there are areas of disobedience or ungodly motives in their heart regarding money or their gifts, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them into repentance. May their life be a living testimony of Your faithfulness, and may they always seek You first in all things.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this brother/sister walk in the fullness of Your anointing, bringing glory to Your name in every area of their life. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
