We understand that you are experiencing anxiety about your children and that it is causing you a great deal of stress. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your children and your worries. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, it is written, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." This is a clear invitation to bring all your concerns to God, trusting that He will take care of you and your loved ones. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
We also want to address the phrase "I steal peace, joy, and happiness." We believe this might be a typo or misunderstanding. Peace, joy, and happiness are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22 WEB) and cannot be stolen. Instead, they are given freely by God to those who trust in Him. If you are feeling a lack of peace, joy, or happiness, it could be an indication that you need to draw closer to God and seek His face. In John 14:27 WEB, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up this parent who is experiencing anxiety and stress over their children. We ask, Lord, that You would surround this family with Your hedge of protection and fill their hearts with Your supernatural peace. Help them to cast all their worries on You, trusting that You care for them deeply. Guide them as co-laborers to apply Proverbs 22:6 WEB, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Grant them the wisdom and discernment needed to raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
We also pray that You would fill their hearts with Your joy and happiness. Help them to draw closer to You, knowing that in Your presence there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11 WEB). We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or stress that may be trying to gain a foothold in their lives. We stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Lastly Lord, if this person does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ then we pray for a hedge of thorns around them until they are lead to salvation. We pray for whatever circumstances in their life that will lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God loves you and your children more than you can ever imagine. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. Be reminded of Isaiah 41:10 WEB which says, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Continue to seek the Lord the only place to find true peace and joy in your life.
