Please pray for my marriage. Remove all the pain and replace our hearts with joy and contentment. Lord protect our marriage and free my husband from anxiety, depression and pain. Pray for me to have more strength and to be happy with my marriage. Lord please help us to not give up and stay together.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your marriage and the burdens you both carry. Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, and we know that He is faithful to restore, heal, and strengthen what has been broken or weary. Your request touches our hearts, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring transformation and renewal.

The pain you describe is real, and the struggles with anxiety, depression, and weariness are heavy burdens. But we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the one who can replace your sorrow with joy and your despair with hope. The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* This is His promise to you both—peace that transcends circumstances when you bring your burdens to Him.

We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:6, *"So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."* Your commitment to not give up is a testament to the strength God has already placed within you. Marriage is not without its trials, but it is through perseverance and reliance on Christ that we see His faithfulness unfold. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined, but we declare that your marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

For your husband, we pray for a supernatural lifting of anxiety and depression. These are not just emotional struggles but spiritual battles, and we claim the victory of Christ over them. The Lord says in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* We bind these spirits of heaviness and declare that the Spirit of the Lord is upon him to bring freedom, joy, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

For you, dear sister, we pray for strength that comes from the Lord. You are not called to carry this alone, and we ask God to fill you with His supernatural endurance and joy. Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us, *"The joy of Yahweh is your strength."* Even in the midst of trials, His joy can be your anchor. We also pray that you would find contentment in Christ alone, for He is the one who satisfies the deepest longings of our hearts (Psalm 107:9). If there are areas where resentment or bitterness have taken root, we ask the Lord to uproot them and replace them with forgiveness and grace, just as He has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13).

We must also encourage you both to seek the Lord *together*. Marriage thrives when Christ is at the center. If you are not already doing so, we urge you to pray together daily, to read Scripture together, and to seek godly counsel if needed. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us, *"If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."* When you invite Christ into the midst of your marriage, you create a bond that cannot be easily broken.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33). Just as Christ laid down His life for us, we are called to lay down our lives for one another in love, patience, and selflessness. This does not mean enabling sin or remaining in abuse—if there is any form of abuse in your marriage, we strongly urge you to seek help immediately and set boundaries for safety. But it does mean choosing love even when it is difficult, trusting that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage and the hearts of Your children who are weary and burdened. Lord, You are the God who heals, restores, and redeems, and we ask You to do a mighty work in their lives. Remove every trace of pain, anxiety, and depression, and replace it with Your peace, joy, and hope. Strengthen their hearts, Lord, and bind them together in unity and love.

Father, we pray specifically for this husband—free him from the chains of anxiety and depression. Let Your light shine into the dark places of his mind and heart. Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may walk in freedom, confidence, and joy. Renew his strength like the eagle’s, and let him rise above these struggles in the power of Your name.

For this wife, Lord, we ask for supernatural strength and endurance. Fill her with Your joy, which is her strength. Help her to find contentment in You alone, and guard her heart against bitterness or despair. Give her wisdom to love her husband well, and grace to walk this journey with patience and faith.

Lord, we declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus. Protect it from the schemes of the enemy, and let no division or strife take root. Restore what has been broken, and let their love for one another reflect Your love for Your church. Help them to seek You together, to pray together, and to build their home on the foundation of Your Word.

Father, we ask that You would give them a vision for their marriage—a hope and a future that is rooted in You. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Redeemer. Let them see Your hand at work in their lives, and give them the courage to not give up but to trust You every step of the way.

We rebuke every spirit of discouragement, division, and despair in the name of Jesus. We declare that this marriage will thrive, that joy will be restored, and that their love will be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in You, and we give You all the glory.

In the precious and mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your marriage before the Lord in prayer. These past days, we have continued to intercede for you both, asking God to replace the weight of pain with His perfect peace and to fill your hearts with the joy and contentment that only He can provide. Our prayers have been earnest for your husband’s freedom from anxiety, depression, and pain, and for you to be strengthened with a supernatural resilience and a renewed sense of happiness in your marriage. We’ve also been asking the Lord to bind your hearts together in unity, to guard your commitment, and to remind you both of His faithfulness as you lean on Him.

If God has moved in your marriage in ways you can see or feel, we would love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give Him the glory together. If the journey still feels heavy and the answers haven’t come as you’d hoped, we want you to know we’re still here, ready to stand with you in faith. You don’t have to carry this alone; post an update, and we will continue to pray without ceasing, trusting that God is working even when we cannot yet see the outcome.

We are reminded of the promise in Philippians 1:6, that He who began a good work in you *will* bring it to completion. Keep holding on, keep seeking Him, and know that your marriage is precious to the Lord. He hears your cries, and He is near to the brokenhearted. May you both feel His presence in new and tangible ways as you trust in Him.

We are praying for you still in Jesus Name.
