We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for this situation. We appreciate that you have prayed in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me," and in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Regarding the individuals you mentioned hoping for them to meet and enjoy each other's presence prior to the event, we encourage them to keep their interactions pure and focused on getting to know each other's characters and spiritual walk.
While we empathize with the desire to meet and get to know each other better, we must emphasize that courtship is different than dating. 2 Timothy 2:22 WEB "Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
We encourage them to use this time to grow spiritually together. While they may physically enjoy each other's company, the focus should be getting to know the spiritual heart of the other.
Heavenly Father, we lift up these individuals to You, asking that Your will be done in their lives. Guide them as they plan to meet and get to know each other better. Help them to keep their interactions pure and focused on learning about each other's character and spiritual journey. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this relationship, and help them to trust in Your timing and plan for their lives. Draw them nearer to each other as they draw nearer to You. We ask this in Jesus' name.
We encourage them to seek the Lord together. The closer they are to the Lord, the closer they will be to each other.
