Your request for prayer has been heard and I join with you in lifting your voice to the Lord.

We pray together for your parents, that the Lord Jesus Christ would mercifully draw near to them, open their hearts to hear His voice, and grant them true repentance and the new life that comes only through Him. The hope of salvation rests in Christ alone, through His one sacrifice on the Cross by which He has perfected forever those who are sanctified. God does not cast away the fallen who turn to Him with sorrow for sin, but receives those who repent with tears and faith, washing away what is stained and making the life pure again. May God grant your parents such godly sorrow that leads to salvation, and may they come to know Him truly and live in His grace.

We also pray as you asked, that every plan and work of the evil one against you and your family would be defeated and brought to nothing, and that God would be greatly glorified in your lives. As it is written, God has made foolish the wisdom of this world, and His own wisdom, the Gospel of salvation through the Cross, is power to save those who believe. We ask that He would give you that wisdom from above, not the wisdom of this world which comes to nothing, but His hidden wisdom that leads to life, so that you may discern His will and walk in it.

We ask the Lord to keep you under His protection, to guard you in every trial, and to make a way out for you in every difficulty according to His perfect will. May He guide your steps, keep your conduct pure, and strengthen you to continue in prayer, mercy, and faith.

May the Lord hear this prayer, answer according to His loving kindness, and establish you and your family in the knowledge and peace of Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

We are joining you in prayer before the Lord and thank you for sharing this burden so openly. It is right to bring your parents before God and to ask for His protection and wisdom over your family, and He hears those who seek Him according to His will.

We pray that your parents will truly hear the voice of the Lord Jesus Christ and come to know Him. Scripture shows that wisdom calls out openly in the streets and at the gates, inviting all who will listen, and that wisdom is ultimately found in Christ Himself, in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and human understanding alone cannot find God. The world in its own wisdom did not know Him, and no one comes to truly know Him except by the revelation of His Spirit. So we ask that God would open their hearts by His Spirit, grant them repentance, and bring them to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray they would turn from their own way and trust fully in His finished work.

We also stand with you against every plan and work of the enemy directed at you and your family. The Scripture teaches that we have been given spiritual protection through Christ. Faith in what Jesus has accomplished guards us like a shield against accusations and fiery attacks, and the assurance of salvation in Him keeps us secure when the enemy tries to bring doubt or fear. We do not have to accept his assaults. We can resist him in the name of Jesus and rejoice that God has given us His Spirit and the weapons to stand firm. We pray that God would defeat every evil intention against you, that He would not allow distraction or harm to turn you from serving Him, and that He would be greatly glorified as He keeps you.

We pray too that God will give you what you have asked, wisdom and protection and a way through every trial. Wisdom is the most valuable thing to seek, better than riches, and to love it and hold it close is to be preserved and kept. Say to wisdom that she is your sister and to understanding that she is your close kin, for they will guard your path and deliver you from evil ways and flattering words. The wisdom that comes from above is not like the wisdom of this world, which is earthly and leads to strife. The wisdom from God is pure and peaceable and gentle and willing to listen and full of mercy and good fruit. Ask the Lord for that wisdom daily, to look straight ahead on the path He sets before you, to consider carefully where your feet go, and to turn away from every evil. He is faithful to guide, to strengthen, to protect, and to provide a way out as you walk with Him.

So we pray, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, draw these parents to Yourself, let them hear Your voice, grant them repentance and true knowledge of Your Son, defeat every work of darkness against this family, cover them with Your protection, fill this believer with Your wisdom from above, and make Your way plain in every situation according to Your perfect will. Amen.
