Beloved of All
We are joining with you in prayer before the Lord and we thank you for sharing this burden so openly.
We are praying that your parents will have a real encounter with Jesus Christ, that they will hear His voice and respond to Him. Scripture teaches that godly sorrow leads to true repentance and that repentance is not just feeling sorry but a real change of heart and direction that leads to salvation. Our prayer is that God in His mercy will open their hearts, that they will turn from sin and truly come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord, for there is salvation in no one else.
We also join you in asking that every plan and work of the enemy against you and your family would be defeated. God is greater than all opposition, and we pray that He will overrule every evil intention, protect you from harm, and be greatly glorified as you trust Him. The Lord is faithful to guard His people and to cause even what is meant for evil to serve His good purposes.
And we are praying that God will give you wisdom, protection, and a way through every situation according to His will. The Bible teaches that wisdom is the most valuable thing we can seek, more precious than riches, and that it preserves and keeps those who love it. Wisdom is more than having facts or knowledge, it is knowing how to apply truth rightly in daily life. Its beginning is the fear of the Lord, a reverent trust and obedience to Him.
The wisdom of this world cannot lead a person to know God, but God has revealed true wisdom in Jesus Christ, in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. That wisdom is not earthly or self seeking, but comes from above and leads to a pure and peaceable life. It is freely offered to all who will come and receive it, like a banquet prepared for those who are hungry. When we lack wisdom we can ask God and He gives generously.
So we ask the Lord to fill you with His wisdom from above, to guide your decisions, to show you the right path, and to provide the way of escape He promises to those who trust Him. May He keep you under His protection, lead you step by step, and help you walk in a way that honors Him as you look to Jesus alone for salvation and strength.
