We join with you in prayer and thank you for asking us to stand with you before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every chain is broken.
We lift up your parents before the Lord and we agree with you for their salvation. We pray that the Lord will open their eyes and draw them to Himself, that they may hear His voice and respond in repentance and true faith. It is the heart of God that none should perish but that all should come to repentance as we read in 2 Peter 3:9, and that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4. Jesus said My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me in John 10:27. We pray that God will remove any hardness or blindness and give them a new heart and a new spirit as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, so that they may believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved as spoken in Acts 16:31.
We also join you in praying for protection over you and your family. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places in Ephesians 6:12. Yet we take comfort that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world in 1 John 4:4, and that no weapon that is formed against us will prosper in Isaiah 54:17. We pray that every plan and deed of the enemy against you and your household will be defeated and brought to nothing, and that God will be mightily glorified in your family. We pray that the Lord will be your refuge and fortress, your shield and strong tower, and that He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways as in Psalm 91:11.
We pray also for wisdom, protection, and a way forward in every situation according to the will of God. We ask the Father to give you wisdom liberally as He promises in James 1:5 that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray that the Lord will guide your steps and make your path straight as you trust in Him with all your heart in Proverbs 3:5-6. We are assured that God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it in 1 Corinthians 10:13. We pray that you will clearly see the way out that He provides and have the courage to walk in it.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up these dear parents to You and ask for a divine encounter with the living Christ. Open their ears to hear Your voice, open their hearts to repent and to truly know You as Lord and Savior. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit and save them for Your glory. We ask that You defeat every satanic plan and intention against our brother or sister and their family, and let Your name be glorified mightily in their home. Surround them with Your protection, fill them with Your wisdom, and show the way out in every trial according to Your perfect will. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You in Romans 8:28. Your prayer has been heard and we count it a joyful privilege to join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. It is a right and loving thing to bear your parents before the Lord, and to ask that they may truly know Christ, and we will plead with you for this mercy.
We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will graciously encounter them and open their ears, and seal instruction upon them, that He may withdraw them from their own purpose and hide pride from them. We do not ask for them a mere legal terror which gives no glory to God and leads to no lasting deliverance, for there is a repentance that is hopeless and unbelieving, like that of Judas who said I have sinned and yet fled from mercy to destruction. We ask for them that evangelical repentance which is inseparable from faith. May they be given that repentance which ejects sin as an evil tenant and that faith which admits Christ to be sole Master of the heart, that repentance which pulls down and that faith which builds up. May they hear the voice of Him who cries, Look unto Me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else, and may they look away from self and forms and feelings, and look to what Christ has done, trusting His blood which cleanses from all sin. For all who truly repent and believe in Him, there is no condemnation, for He bore their sins in His own body on the tree.

The enemy does indeed hinder and tempt, and his arrows are poisoned, and his temptations often dash upon the mind at odd times, yet he is a defeated foe. Our Captain, He of the thorn crown, has fought the enemy and broken his head, and that victory was representative, for He fought and won it for you. We pray Colossians 1:13 over you, that the Father who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, will keep you and yours. Just as He has spoken from the excellent Glory, Deliver him from going down to the pit, so we ask that Infinite Mercy may snap every band and set you free, and save you from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins and from the devil.
And for yourself we pray as you have asked, that God according to His perfect will may give you wisdom, protection, and a way out in every trial. In all your afflictions, look unto Christ and find deliverance. Upon His breast hangs the Urim and Thummim, and from Him you shall find direction in every time of difficulty and dilemma. Your request has been received and we join you in prayer before the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving that you have brought these needs into the light.
We pray together for your parents, that the Lord in His mercy would grant them a true encounter with Jesus Christ, that they would hear His voice and that God would lead them to repentance and to truly know Him. We know that salvation is through Christ alone and by His one sacrifice, and that He desires all to come to repentance. True repentance bears fruit and looks to Him in faith, not in despair, and we ask that God would open their hearts to receive the simplicity of the Gospel and turn to Him with their whole hearts.
We also stand with you and your family asking that every plan and work of the enemy against you would be defeated and that God would be greatly glorified in your lives. The enemy is fierce and constantly besieges our salvation, yet he has no power to prevail by compulsion where we are watchful and sober. God has set limits to his power and he trails upon the ground when we stand armed with faith. We pray that you would be strengthened with the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, and with continual prayer, and that you would be kept from giving him even a small foothold, so that he finds no broad passage into your home.
We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ to give you wisdom, protection and a way out in every trial according to His perfect will. The wisdom that saves comes not from this world but from God, and He gives it freely to those who ask in faith. May He guide your steps, guard you from sin as from a serpent, keep you in fellowship with other believers so you are not isolated in the struggle, and make clear the path He has prepared for you.
