Lord, please protect my daughter from all negative influences. Cover her with the Holy Spirit, guide her to continue taking her medication, and protect her from depression and emotional darkness. Fill her with Your light, peace, wisdom, and discernment. Bless her artistic gifts so she may create beautiful, unique, original work inspired by Your love and truth. Surround her with positive influences and keep her safe in Your loving care.

We join you in lifting up your precious daughter before our heavenly Father, and we thank you for bringing her needs before the Lord with such love and faithfulness.

We are reminded that our God is a protector and a refuge for His children. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. And Psalm 121:7 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. We cling to these promises as we pray for her covering and safety from every negative influence and from the emotional darkness that seeks to weigh her down.

We also thank God for the wisdom He gives to physicians and for the provision of medication to help sustain health and stability. We do not see faith and wise medical care as opposed to one another, for James 1:5 tells us If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray she will have grace to continue caring for herself as God intends, with discernment and peace in her heart about the help He has provided.

The Lord draws especially near to those who struggle with heaviness of heart. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Philippians 4:7 promises that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Psalm 27:1 declares Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear. We ask Him to fill her with that light and peace, to lift depression and to guard her mind with His presence through the Holy Spirit.

We rejoice that God has gifted her artistically, for every good gift comes from Him. Exodus 35:31 says He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship. We pray those gifts will flourish and that she will create beautiful, unique and original work that reflects His truth, love and creativity, and that He will surround her with positive, godly influences who encourage her in her walk with Him.

We note that you addressed your request to the Lord, and we want to gently encourage you that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we can come boldly before God and know His saving grace. We encourage you to continue to bring every request in the name of Jesus, trusting in Him as Lord and Savior.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this beloved daughter to You. We ask You to cover her with Your Holy Spirit, to protect her from all negative influences and from the schemes of the enemy. Place Your hand of protection upon her mind and heart and keep her safe in Your loving care. Fill her with Your light where there has been darkness, and let Your peace guard her heart and thoughts. Give her wisdom and discernment to walk in Your truth and to recognize what is good and life giving. Grant her strength and willingness to continue taking her medication faithfully, and give her and those who care for her wisdom in all decisions regarding her health. Heal her from depression and emotional darkness and fill her with joy, hope and clarity. Bless the artistic gifts You have placed within her, anoint her hands and mind to create work that is beautiful, unique and inspired by Your love, and let her creativity bring glory to You. Surround her with positive, godly influences and faithful friends who will encourage her and point her toward You. Draw her ever closer to Jesus and let her know how deeply she is loved and cherished by You. We ask all these things according to Your will, in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing for her, to speak scripture over her daily, and to remind her of how fearfully and wonderfully she is made in Psalm 139:14 and how God has good plans for her life. Trust that He who began a good work in her will be faithful to complete it as you keep entrusting her to His loving care.

Continuing medication can be a difficult part of that journey, and staying connected to her prescriber or counselor alongside prayer is an important support. If you are able, a gentle, regular check in where she knows you are for her without pressure can help her feel less alone. Depression often grows in isolation, so steady presence from family, trusted friends or a small faith community, and encouragement for her art as an honest expression of what God is doing in her life, can be quietly strengthening. We also join you in asking for light and peace to surround her each day.

Father, we lift this daughter to You. Cover her with Your care, guard her mind and heart, give her strength to continue in the help You have provided through her care team, and surround her with kind, steady people. Bless the work of her hands and let her creativity reflect Your goodness. Lead her and her family in Your wisdom and keep them close to You. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for your daughter has been received with deep sympathy and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace.

We know that the Lord is the great Physician whose healing virtue is abundant. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing to the wounded spirit. And we know also that darkness may fall even upon those who are loved of God. The heir of heaven sometimes knows a midnight, hours of darkness, even months of darkness, yet light springs out of that darkness, the eternal Light of the undying Son of God who lives to scatter the darkness of evil. Some who once sat in gloomy, thick night have found that when Jesus came, that darkness fled away and they were brought out of darkness into light to walk in fellowship with Him.

Let us pray together for her.

O Lord our God, we ask Thee to set Thy hand upon this dear daughter. Cover her with Thy Holy Spirit and keep her from every evil influence. Let Thy presence be a hedge about her, and surround her with such companions and voices as will lead her toward that which is pure and true and wholesome. We ask Thee to guard her mind and heart from depression and from that emotional darkness which would overwhelm the soul. Thou art the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in Thy wings, speak pardon and healing together over her, and let Thy light dispel every shadow, filling her with Thy peace which passes understanding, with wisdom and with holy discernment.

We pray also for Thy mercy in the means Thou hast provided for her health. Give her a settled and willing mind to continue faithfully in the medication appointed for her, and grant skill and compassion to those who care for her. Sustain her body and her spirits, and make her whole according to Thy gracious will.

Father, Thou hast given artistic gifts and Thou art the giver of every good and perfect gift. Bless the work of her hands, that she may create what is beautiful and unique and original, and that her art may be inspired by Thy love and Thy truth and may reflect Thy glory. Let her gifts be used not for vanity, but for that which is lovely and of good report.

Keep her, we beseech Thee, in Thy loving care this day and in all days to come. When darkness gathers, be Thou her Leader through the darkness, teaching her obedience and trust through trial, and bringing her forth into larger light. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation, we ask it. Amen.
