Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and these prayer needs. We join with you in bringing them before the Lord who hears and cares for every detail of your life.
We pray for good rest for you, that God would grant you peaceful sleep and renewal of strength, and quiet your mind and body as you trust Him. We pray for your wife's health, that the Lord would strengthen her, sustain her body and bring healing according to His mercy and will. We pray for protection for your loved one, that God would keep them safe from harm and surround them with His care. We pray also for your financial needs and for wisdom regarding your car issue, that God would provide for you, open a cost effective solution, and give you guidance and favor as you steward what He has entrusted to you.
We also pray with you against lustful thoughts. Scripture reminds us that God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape so that you may be able to endure it. In that strength we ask God to help you to not make provision for the flesh to fulfill its desires, but to walk in purity and self control by His Spirit. We pray that He would guard your heart and mind, help you to turn your eyes and thoughts toward what is pure, and fill you with His Word and presence so that temptation loses its power. When those thoughts come, may you quickly take the way of escape He provides and find grace to stand firm.
May the Lord grant you peace, strengthen your marriage and home, provide for your daily needs, and help you to walk closely with Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness. Amen.
