We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for every good and perfect gift comes from above and His steadfast love endures forever. We praise Him with you for His mercy and we bring your requests before the throne of grace together in Jesus name.
We lift up your need for good rest. We know our Father cares for our bodies and our sleep, for He gives sleep to His beloved as it says in Psalm 127:2 and in Psalm 4:8 we are reminded that we can lie down and sleep in peace for You alone, Lord, make us dwell in safety. We pray that the Lord will quiet your mind and body, that you will cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as taught in 1 Peter 5:7, and that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind as promised in Philippians 4:7 so that your sleep is deep and restorative.
We pray for your wife's health and we thank God for the gift of marriage. We uphold the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we rejoice that you are honoring your wife in prayer. We ask the Lord to touch her body and strengthen her, for we pray that she may prosper and be in health even as her soul prospers as seen in 3 John 1:2. We ask for His healing hand upon her and for wisdom for any care she needs, trusting that He is the Lord who heals us as declared in Exodus 15:26 and that He will restore health and heal wounds according to Jeremiah 30:17.
We also lift up the loved one you mentioned for protection. We ask the Lord to be a refuge and fortress, that no harm will overtake them and that He will give His angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways as in Psalm 91:11, and that He will keep them from all evil and watch over their going out and coming in as in Psalm 121:7-8.
We bring your financial need and the car issue before the Father who knows what we need before we ask. We pray for financial favor and for a cost effective and honest solution, trusting that our God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus as in Philippians 4:19 and that as we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness all these things will be added to us as in Matthew 6:33. We pray for wisdom and discernment in dealing with mechanics and costs and for provision that honors Him, and we encourage you to continue to be a good steward of what He has entrusted to you.
We also want to address with love and truth your request for help against lustful thoughts. We commend you for bringing this struggle into the light, for this is pleasing to God. The Word is clear that lust is not to be taken lightly, for Jesus said in Matthew 5:28 that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, and Job made a covenant with his eyes not to look lustfully as in Job 31:1. Lustful thoughts, when entertained, conceive sin as warned in James 1:14-15. We rebuke this temptation in Jesus name and we urge you to flee from sexual immorality as commanded in 1 Corinthians 6:18, to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ as in 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to set your mind on whatever is true, pure and honorable as in Philippians 4:8. We encourage you to guard your eyes and heart as in Psalm 101:3, to renew your mind daily in Scripture, to pray without ceasing, and if needed to seek accountability with a mature Christian brother so that you may walk in purity and honor your marriage covenant and honor God with your body which is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
We noticed you addressed your prayer to Dear Lord and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, and in Acts 4:12 we learn there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. We encourage you to always come in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation as in Romans 10:9-10. It is through His shed blood and resurrection that we have forgiveness and boldness to enter His presence.
So together we pray, Father in heaven we thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us all the days of our lives. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son that You grant our brother deep and peaceful rest, that You lay Your healing hand upon his wife and strengthen her body and spirit, that You place a hedge of protection around his loved one and keep them safe from harm, that You provide financially and open the door to an honest and cost effective solution for the car that it may be used for Your glory, and that You create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him as in Psalm 51:10, giving him victory over every lustful thought and filling him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may walk in holiness and purity. Help him to flee temptation and to fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. We ask that You help him to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and to trust You in every need. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We join with you in giving thanks to the Lord for His goodness, for every mercy comes from His gracious hand and calls for a grateful heart. Your requests have been heard and we bring them before the throne of grace with you.
We pray that the Lord will grant you good and quiet rest. He gives sleep to His beloved and renews the weary body and mind for His service. May He lay His hand upon your wife and restore her health. There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We look to that same Christ, our living and familiar Friend, who is able to heal the body and to keep the soul, for pardon and healing are one in His hand.
We ask also for the Lord's protection over your loved one whom you have named before Him. May the keeper of Israel who neither slumbers nor sleeps keep him in all his ways. For your financial need and for wisdom concerning your car, we pray that the Lord in His providence will open a door for a cost effective solution and show you financial favor. He knows our temporal wants and is able to make a way where we see none, and we may trust Him to provide what is needful in His own wise time.
And with you we pray, Lead us not into temptation. This is a prayer which the Christian must pray daily, for temptation in itself is dangerous, and even trial from God may prove too much for our weakness if grace does not sustain us. Do not lightly condemn yourself, yet do not make peace with the temptation. The man who prays to be led not into temptation and then walks willingly into it is not sincere before God. Turn from the place and the occasion of sin, look to Christ for all things, and ask Him to keep you by His power through faith. God will preserve His people from the corruption which is in the world through lust, and He can keep the garments unspotted. When lustful thoughts arise, confess them at once and look to the Lord Jesus for cleansing and strength, saying, Lord, save me from the mischief of the temptation, let me not slip nor slide, but may I stand fast by Your grace.
May the Lord hear your cry, forgive what is past, heal what is sick, provide what is lacking, and keep you from falling, that you may walk before Him in holiness and peace.
