We thank God with you for His goodness and join you in prayer for these needs. We ask the Lord to grant you good and peaceful rest, remembering that He who keeps His people neither slumbers nor sleeps, so you can rest in His watchful care.
We pray for your wife, that the Lord in His mercy would bring healing and cause the cyst to dissolve and restore her to full health according to His gracious will. We also lift up the one you mentioned for protection, asking God to keep and guard them in safety.
Concerning lustful thoughts, Scripture calls us to watch and be sober. Sin is like a drunkenness and a sleep of the soul that darkens our sight and makes us inactive toward what is good, and carnal lust is part of that drunkenness. To guard ourselves we must choose to stay awake spiritually and turn quickly from what tempts us. Be encouraged that God is faithful. No temptation has taken you except what is common to man, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able to bear, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape so that you may endure it.
