We join together in lifting up your father to the Lord and we bring your financial needs before Him as well, asking for His mercy and provision in Jesus' name.
We are deeply sorry to hear of your father's serious illness with liver problems and obstructive jaundice. We know how heavy this burden must be on you and your family to watch a loved one suffer. We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon him and for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers who are treating him. Scripture reminds us of God's character as our healer, I am Yahweh who heals you, Exodus 15:26, and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to the promise, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear father to You. You know his body and his suffering and You see the jaundice and the affliction in his liver. We ask for Your healing power to touch him, to clear the obstruction, to restore his liver function and to bring strength back to his body. Give wisdom and skill to his medical team, comfort him in his pain, and let Your peace rest upon his family as they wait upon You. We ask that You would be glorified through his healing and that he would have more days to know and serve You.
We also bring your financial struggles and your desire for a regular salary before the Lord. We understand the anxiety that comes when needs are great and income is uncertain, especially while caring for a sick loved one. God knows your needs and He is faithful to provide for His children. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Jesus taught us not to be anxious but to trust our Heavenly Father, and to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. Whatever work He has given you to do, we encourage you to do it heartily as unto the Lord, Colossians 3:23, trusting that He sees your diligence.
We pray, Lord we ask for Your provision over this family. Open doors for steady and honest work and for a regular salary to meet their daily needs and the medical expenses before them. Give wisdom in stewardship, help them to cast their cares upon You, and provide in ways that show Your loving care. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6, and we thank You that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for then you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is through His name we pray with confidence, knowing He intercedes for us.

Your request has been laid to heart and we bring you and your father before the throne of grace with deep sympathy.
We are grieved to hear of your father's serious illness, this affliction of the liver and obstructive jaundice which has brought him so low. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek the Physician. Remember that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. There the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing were one when Jesus said, Son be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. We pray that the Lord will lay His hand upon your father, and if it seem good in His sight, lift him up as He took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and the fever left her. Whether He shall be pleased to restore him to health in this life or to give him that brighter healing above where faces shine fresher than newborn babes, we commend him to the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.
We also hear your cry concerning pinching want and financial trials, and your desire for a regular salary that you may walk erect without the crutch of charity. Many a goodly cedar has withered for lack of moisture, and many a heart has been broken by inability to obtain employment. Your heavenly Father knows what you require today and what you will require in the unknown future. When the Divine Father is viewed aright He becomes the object of our gratitude, not of our dread, for the Father Himself loves you, and His love is in all respects equal to the love of the Son. He has promised, I will be a Father unto you and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty, and you shall find Him a better Father than the best of fathers could ever be. Leave it all to Him and trust Him as a child trusts his father. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight, must be our prayer when we cannot trace His hand.
Above all we pray that you and your household may know first forgiveness and then healing. He was sent by the Father on purpose to forgive sin, and He has been exalted to be a Prince and a Saviour to give repentance and forgiveness of sins. How shall we reckon ourselves beloved children if our Father is still our Judge. Therefore seek first the pardon that comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and where sin is forgiven the spirit of adoption cries Abba, Father, and there is Heaven in the depth of that word.
Let us pray together. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we bless You for Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We pray for your father in his serious illness with liver problems and obstructive jaundice. We ask the Lord, who is compassionate and mighty to heal, to have mercy on him, to grant wisdom and skill to the doctors who care for him, to ease his suffering, and to restore his health according to His perfect will. We pray also that through this trial your father and your whole family would experience the comfort and hope that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have forgiveness and eternal life.
We also lift up the financial burdens you are carrying and your desire for regular work and steady income. Our Father knows our needs and He is faithful to provide for His children. We pray that God would open doors for provision, grant you steady and honest work, meet your daily needs, and give you peace and trust in Him as He cares for you.
