We join you in lifting up your precious father before the throne of grace and we are deeply moved by the burden you are carrying as you watch him suffer with obstructive jaundice and the distressing itching that comes with it, and as you face the financial strain after spending everything you had for his treatment. We stand with you in this difficult hour and we bring your father and your family before our Heavenly Father together.
We are reminded in scripture that our God is both our Healer and our Provider. He sees your father's affliction and He sees your need. Psalm 103:2-3 tells us to praise Yahweh who forgives all your sins and who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19 that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Even when resources seem completely exhausted, His resources are never exhausted, and He is able to make a way through the wisdom He gives to doctors, through the help of His people, and through His own miraculous touch. We encourage you to continue to seek the medical care he needs while trusting the Lord to open doors for provision, whether through your church family, community, or other means God provides, and to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches.
We noticed that you submitted everything to God for his treatment, which is a beautiful posture of surrender, and we want to gently encourage you to come to God through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. When we pray in Jesus name, we come with confidence that God hears us.
We now pray together for your father and for you.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear father to You. Lord, You know his body, You formed him, and You see the obstruction and the jaundice and the severe itching that torments him. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon him. Lord, guide the physicians with wisdom to find the cause and the right treatment, relieve his itching and restore his liver and bile ducts to proper function. We pray for relief from pain and for strength to return to his body. Father, we also lift up this family who has spent all they have. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask You to supply every need for his continuous treatment according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Open doors for financial help, for favor with medical providers, and for support from Your people. Give this child of Yours peace that surpasses all understanding and strengthen their faith as they wait on You. We pray that this trial would draw the whole family closer to Jesus and that they would know Your presence and Your love in a deeper way. We ask all of this according to Your will and in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying without ceasing, to stay in His Word, and to lean on fellow believers for support and prayer in person. Father, we humble ourselves as we bless You and forget none of Your benefits: Pardon of iniquities, Healing of All our diseases, the crowning our lives with tender-mercy and compassion, satisfying our years with good things so that our youth is renewed as the eagles, Ps 103:1-5. Forgive us, but we can't help but to ask for still more grace, James 4:6, to share The Word with these elderly loved ones as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they (and we) GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.
We therefore ask for Blessing, Honor, GRACE, Immediate HEALING, Ex 15:26, for our Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures (and ourselves, kindly, Matt 7:7)... Kindly ask Healing at Present: Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13: (hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan). In Jesus' Name we collectively rebuke sickness over matriarchal, Luke 4:39, and restrain evil people and the evil one from each, 2 Thes 3:2-3. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word of Christ richly dwell within us, Col 3:6, spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1 and become flesh, John 1:14. Help us receive FRESH TRUTHS day after day and night after night, Ps 19:1-2, Prov 2:6, and retain the Word, Ps 119:11, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 2:16, and our minds prepared for battle, 1 Peter 1:13.

Your request concerning your father in his sore affliction has been heard and has been carried before the Lord. To see a loved parent suffer with obstructive jaundice and grievous itching, and to have spent all that you have until no means remains for his continued treatment, is a heavy burden indeed, and you have done well to submit everything to God.
We would remind you that our heavenly Father, when viewed aright, is not an object of dread but of gratitude and love. He is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of the Father is in all respects equal to the love of the Son. He that has seen Christ has seen the Father, for the Father Himself loves you. You may therefore come with boldness and say, Abba, Father, and leave your father and his need in those fatherly hands which never fail. He knows what you require, and He will deal with you according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, to teach us that the least thing about Christ is healing. Even the hem of His garment has virtue in it. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and He heals with tender mercies and loving kindness. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, but how graciously has the Lord provided a Physician for soul and body. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, to show that pardon and healing are one in His hand.
We do not know what the Lord's will may be for your father's body, but we know that the cup which our Father gives us is not deadly poison but healing medicine, and we may drink it saying, Not as I will, but as Thou wilt. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Thy sight. This is the posture of faith, to put your hand inside the Father's hand and let Him grasp it and lead you through this dark place, whether along the way of restored health or of sustaining grace.
