We are grateful you have shared these requests with us and we join with you in seeking the Lord's will together in Jesus' name.
We love your heart to pray not just for getting the house but for God's will and favor. That is the right posture, to desire His leading above our own preferences. Scripture reminds us that Proverbs 16:9 says a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, and Psalm 127:1 says unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. We pray with you that the Lord will make His will very clear regarding this viewing, that He will open the door wide if this is the home He has prepared, or close it firmly and lead to an even better one that fits His perfect plan. We also join you in praying for closeness, that if it is according to His wisdom and provision, you may be able to live near to one another for mutual support and fellowship, trusting Romans 8:28 that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
We also lift up this precious child beginning preschool. Transition and adaptation can bring big emotions for little ones and for those who love them. We pray for a peace that settles the heart and for kindness from teachers and new friends. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Isaiah 26:3 promises you will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. We ask the Lord to give this child confidence, joy, and a sense of safety each day, and to give you peace as you entrust this little one to His care.
And we join you in praying for your own home, that it would be filled with the blessing, peace, and protection that only the Lord can give. We pray Numbers 6:24-26 over you, Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace. May your home be a dwelling place of rest under His shadow, for Psalm 91:1-2 says he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and for hearing us when we call upon You in the name of Jesus. We bring this house viewing before You and ask for Your clear direction and favor. If this house is right in Your eyes, we ask You to grant it, and if not, lead Your children to the home You have already chosen, even better than they have imagined. Provide for every practical need in the moving process and let Your will be done. We ask for Your gentle hand upon this child in preschool, calm any anxious thoughts, grant a smooth and joyful adaptation, and surround this little one with loving care. And we ask for Your blessing, peace, and protection to rest upon this home, guarding all who enter and dwell there, keeping it from harm and filling it with Your presence. We trust You as our provider, our shepherd, and our refuge, and we ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
We encourage you to continue to rest in His leading and to wait with thanksgiving, knowing He withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly. Keep bringing every detail to Him in prayer, for He cares deeply for you and for those you love.
