We rejoice with you and give thanks to our Heavenly Father with you for His mercy and for answering prayer regarding the new job. We join you in praising His holy name for every blessing He has poured out on your family, for His faithfulness over these many years in the home you have rented, and for the work He has provided. Every good gift is from Him and we are grateful that you have acknowledged His hand in this.
We are encouraged by your faith as you bring this need for a home before the Lord, trusting that with God all things are possible as you said. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 19:26, With God all things are possible. And we are told in Matthew 7:7, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. We also cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Your desire to provide a stable home for your family is good, and we pray that the Lord will establish your dwelling place according to His perfect will. As Psalm 127:1 says, Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.
We pray together with you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all praise and thanksgiving. Thank You for Your mercy, for Your provision of this new job, and for sustaining this family for so many years in this home. Lord, You know the desire of their hearts to own this house and the difficulty they face. We ask that You guide them with wisdom, protect them from anxiety and from unwise decisions, and open the financial doors that need to be opened if it is Your will. Touch the heart of the owner, Lord, and grant favor and open communication so that he may work with them with fairness and kindness. Above all, let Your perfect will be done. If this home is where You would have them remain, make the way clear. If You have another place prepared for them, give them peace to follow Your leading. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, to acknowledge You in all their ways so that You will direct their paths as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches. We ask this in the holy and mighty name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to delight yourself in the Lord and to bring every detail to Him in prayer. Psalm 37:4 says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Continue to seek Him first, to be good stewards of what He has already provided through this new job, to seek godly counsel regarding finances and the purchase process, and to count the cost with wisdom as Luke 14:28 teaches. Remember also Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Whether the answer is yes to this specific house or God leads you elsewhere, His plans for you are good, for Jeremiah 29:11 declares, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every prayer is heard. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We stand with you in faith, trusting our faithful God to provide, to guide, and to give you His peace as you wait upon Him.
