We join with you in prayer and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have confidence to come before the Father.
We hear your desire for security and inner confidence and deep peace at your workplace and in all the days ahead, and we know that true security does not come from circumstances or from the approval of others but from the Lord Himself. We are reminded of His promise in Isaiah 41:10, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in 2 Timothy 1:7 we remember that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. His peace is not as the world gives, as Jesus said in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, and in Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also lift up your desire for favor and to be a blessing to those around you and for work that is inspiring and for fellowship marked by kindness and integrity. We pray that you will find joy and purpose even in small tasks as you commit your work to the Lord, for Colossians 3:23 says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, and Proverbs 16:3 says, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We pray that the Lord will make you a light in your workplace and that as far as it depends on you, you will live peaceably with all as Romans 12:18 teaches, showing grace and integrity to others as Christ has shown to you.
We pray together for your protection and joy. Father, we lift up this dear one to You and we ask that You fill this heart with a deep and abiding sense of security rooted in Your unfailing love and with quiet confidence that comes from knowing You are at work. Grant great peace that guards the heart and mind in Christ Jesus today and in every day to come. Let Your favor and blessing rest powerfully upon this life so that Your goodness overflows to colleagues and to everyone nearby. Provide work that is meaningful and inspiring and give wisdom and diligence to do all things for Your glory. Surround this workplace with kindness and integrity and godly fellowship and let encouragement and Your joy be the strength of this heart as Nehemiah 8:10 declares. We ask that You command Your angels to guard and keep this one in all ways according to Psalm 91:11, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and according to Psalm 34:7, The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Build a wall of protection around this life today and every single day and keep this one walking in Your will. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
