Beloved of All
We join you in thanking God for His goodness, for every mercy He has shown you, and we bring your requests before Him with you.
We pray that the Lord will grant you good and deep rest. Christ Himself says to come to Him when we are weary and He will give rest to our souls, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. May He quiet your heart and body, and give you sleep that restores you, and a deeper rest in trusting His care for all that concerns you.
We also lift up to Him the health needs you mentioned, those you love who are struggling with lung issues and with a heart condition, and all who need quick healing. We ask the Lord in His mercy to lay His healing hand upon them, to strengthen their bodies, to guide those who care for them, and to bring recovery according to His good will. We pray that even in waiting you will know His presence and peace.
And we pray with you against lustful thoughts. Scripture reminds us that no temptation has taken hold of us except what is common to all, and God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape so that you can endure it. Ask Him daily for that way of escape, to turn your mind toward what is pure and to fill your thoughts with His Word. Flee what stirs temptation, pursue what builds holiness, and trust that He gives patience and strength to stand firm.
May the Lord keep you close to Him, guard your heart and mind in Christ, and answer these prayers for rest and healing in the way that brings Him glory and your greatest good. We continue to pray with you. Amen.
