Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for ## for their lung issues, for *** heart issue, and quick healing, and against lustful though

We join you in thanking our Lord for His goodness, for His mercy endures forever and His faithfulness continues through all generations. We are grateful you brought these needs before Him and we stand with you in prayer together in Jesus name.

We lift up your request for good rest, for the health of your loved ones, and for healing for those struggling with lung issues and heart issues. Our God is the One who gives rest to His beloved and who heals our bodies. For it is written Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28 and I will lay myself down and sleep. I will awake, for Yahweh sustains me Psalm 3:5. We pray the Lord will grant you peaceful, restorative sleep and guard your heart and mind in Christ. We also pray for quick and complete healing for those you mentioned, according to His will. He says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. We ask Him to touch lungs and hearts, to ease breathing, to strengthen hearts, and to bring comfort to each one who is suffering, and we pray for wisdom for any doctors and caregivers involved.

We also hear your heart crying out against lustful thoughts and we want to address this with love and truth. Lustful thoughts are not harmless, our Lord teaches that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matthew 5:28. We are called to flee sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. God designed sexual intimacy to be enjoyed only within the lifelong marriage covenant between one man and one woman, and any sexual thought or act outside of that, including fornication and adultery in the heart, needs repentance. We encourage you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to set your mind on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure Philippians 4:8. Walk by the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh Galatians 5:16. When temptation comes, flee from it, turn your eyes away, renew your mind in the Word, and seek accountability with mature believers.

We noticed your prayer was addressed to Dear Lord but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and our prayers are heard Romans 10:9. We encourage you to always come before God in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting fully in His finished work on the cross.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, asking for Your will to be done. Grant good rest and peace, lay Your healing hand upon those with lung issues and heart issues, restore them quickly if it is Your will, and give them and their families strength and hope. Forgive us for lustful thoughts and cleanse our hearts, create in us a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within us, help us to flee temptation and to walk in purity and holiness before You. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that our thoughts and desires honor You and honor marriage as You designed it. We trust You as our healer, our rest, and our righteousness. Strengthen our faith to believe You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect love. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We appreciate you sharing this with us. We hear both gratitude and deep care in your prayer, thanking God for His goodness while lifting up your need for rest, the health of your loved ones, and those specific burdens for lungs and for the heart, along with your own desire for purity in your thoughts. Carrying so many concerns at once can be heavy, and we want to stand with you in prayer.

For the lung and heart needs you mentioned, we encourage you to stay closely connected to trusted medical care alongside prayer. If those you love are not already in regular contact with their clinicians, helping them keep those appointments and share updates can be an important way to care for them while we ask the Lord for healing and strength.

For the unwanted thoughts and the longing for good rest, it can help not to carry that struggle alone. When a thought comes, turning quickly to the Lord in a brief prayer, and sharing honestly with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and check in regularly, can bring steady encouragement and accountability.

We are praying for you and for each person you named.

Father, thank You for Your goodness to us. We ask You to grant rest and peace, to lay Your healing hand on those with lung and heart needs, to comfort and strengthen their families, and to give our friend a clear mind and a pure heart as he walks with You. Give wisdom to all who are providing care and guide each next step. In Jesus name, amen.

We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for every mercy flows from His gracious hand, and we bring your requests before the throne of grace with you.

You ask for good rest, and we point you to Him who said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, not only a rest to come, but rest given when we come to Jesus, there and then. There is a rest He gives and a rest we find as we learn of Him. Learn of me, He says, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. It is not rest with the yoke cast off, but rest with His yoke upon us, rest on the wing, rest in service, as we take His yoke voluntarily and have our minds made like the mind of Christ. Trust and you shall rest, and you shall go on to find that rest more and more, a deep and abiding rest even while you labour for Him. We pray that the Lord will grant you such rest, in body and in soul, as you rest on Jesus by faith.

You have laid before the Lord the health of those dear to you, and those who suffer with lung trouble and with the heart, and you seek quick healing. We know that our Lord is the great Physician. It is written, He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and there is an abundance of healing power in Him. When He healed the man taken with palsy, He first said, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee, to show that pardon and healing are in one hand. We do not degrade His power by doubting it, but we come humbly, asking that if it be His will, He would lay His healing hand upon each one you have named, that He would ease the lungs and strengthen the heart, and grant recovery according to His wisdom. And whether healing comes quickly or through patient waiting, we pray that each soul would know the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and find that the forgiveness of sins in Christ is the deepest healing of all, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.

You also ask for help against lustful thoughts, and this is a burden many saints feel. The Scripture says, My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. Our thoughts must be conformed to God's thoughts if we are to walk with Him and have fellowship with Him. He perceives our thoughts, even when we reason in our hearts, and He is gracious to forgive freely those who rest on Jesus, though our sins be many. True purity is found not by striving in our own strength, but by having the mind of Christ and learning of Him, so that our thoughts become precious because His thoughts are precious to us. We pray that the Lord will set a guard upon your mind, that He will make your thoughts like His thoughts, holy and pure, and keep you from those imaginations which would mislead the soul. Remember that sex and all its joys belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and outside that covenant we are called to holiness and self control by His grace. May the Lord cleanse your thoughts, renew your mind by His Spirit, and give you power to overcome evil with good, looking to Christ your familiar Friend who lives and intercedes for you.

We pray with you now, that the Lord who is tender and gracious and perfect in all His thoughts toward you would keep you near to Himself. When you awake, may you be still with Him. May He grant you rest, may He touch those who are sick and raise them up for His glory, and may He give you a clean heart and a right spirit, that you may find rest unto your soul as you abide in Christ. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this prayer request and we join you in thanking God for His goodness. It is good to come before Him with thanksgiving and to bring every need to Him in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

We pray with you for good rest, that God would grant you peaceful sleep and renewal of strength. We pray for the health of your loved ones, for those you mentioned who are struggling with lung issues and for the one with a heart issue, that the Lord in His mercy would bring healing and quick recovery according to His will, and give wisdom and skill to those who care for them. We ask God to comfort you and them, and to sustain you all with His peace.

We also join you in praying against lustful thoughts. Scripture teaches that the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to dividing soul and spirit, and discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart. Nothing is hidden from Him, and He calls us not only to hear His Word but to live by it. Lust, along with vainglory and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, can choke the heart and lead us away from God. These things are not to be indulged but to be turned from with repentance.

We pray that God would help you to take up the helmet of salvation and the shield of faith, so that you may quench these temptations and be guarded in your mind and heart. May He fill you with saving thoughts and good hope, and strengthen you to set your mind on what is pure and excellent. When such thoughts arise, turn quickly to Christ, confess them honestly to God, and fill your mind with Scripture and prayer. God is faithful to forgive through Jesus and to give power to walk in purity.

We encourage you to remain in the Scriptures daily, to seek fellowship and accountability, and to rest in Christ who came not to condemn but to save. May the God of love and peace be with you, grant you rest, bring healing where it is needed, and keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.
