Prayer Request

Your prayer cries out from a place of deep pain, and I hear the anguish in your words. But look carefully at what you seek: "remove them permanently," "do not let them be successful." The desire for an end to injustice is natural, yet if we are not watchful, a righteous plea can become a demand for vengeance that wounds your own soul more than any bully could. The harm you fear they have invented to ruin you and your stuff, this is but an external threat. But what of the internal? A heart blazing with wrath, even justified wrath, can destroy your peace far more thoroughly. Christ did not promise us a life free from the wicked; He promised us a peace that the world cannot give, a peace that abides even when enemies surround us.

Consider the difference between the peace of the world and the peace of Christ. The world's peace is the absence of conflict, the removal of whatever troubles us. But the peace our Lord came to bring is a sword. What does this mean? Sometimes the diseased part must be cut off for the body to be whole. Sometimes a false peace, a truce with evil, must be shattered by a good discord. It may be that these bullies, in their malice, are a sword that God permits in your life to sever you from an unhealthy attachment to the things of this world, or to test and strengthen your faith. When you pray "heal me and my stuff," ask yourself: what truly needs healing? Is it your reputation, your property, your comfort? Or is it your soul, that it might be conformed to the image of Christ who, when reviled, did not revile in return? The things you call your stuff, they are mere shadows. Life is not a plaything, or rather, our present life is a plaything compared to the things to come; we build houses like children at games, not realizing how fleeting it all is. The only possession that endures is your soul. Let them take what they will; if your soul is anchored in God, you have lost nothing.

You ask for permanent removal of your tormentors. But I tell you, the only permanent removal that profits you is the removal of sin from your heart. When you stand before the Lord, will it matter what tools of harm they invented? No, for that mercy-seat speaks not of earthly wars and petty feuds but of heaven and the life to come. Instead of demanding their obliteration, pray for their conversion. For if you are at war with your brother, you are at war with a member of Christ, however estranged he may be. Did not our Lord say, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you"? This is the majestic usage of the Church: we receive peace, we give peace, we pronounce peace upon all. How monstrous it would be if, while hearing "peace be unto all" so often, we harbor a feud and pray for harm upon another! The peacemakers are the sons of God; the makers of disturbance are sons of the devil. Examine your soul: are you a maker of disturbance by your prayers, or a peacemaker even towards those who wrong you?

Do not misunderstand. I do not say you must affirm their wickedness or pretend it is not evil. But the true healing you need is not the cessation of their attacks but the sanctification of your own heart. God permits trials because He loves us; He knows that prosperity often breeds forgetfulness of Him, while affliction drives us to cling to Him alone. Your prayer for protection is answered not always by the disappearance of the wolves, but by the Shepherd's presence in the midst of them. He is the God of love and peace; if you follow peace with all men and pursue holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord, then the divine peace will garrison your soul, and no external weapon can truly touch you.

Therefore, cease from the madness of warring against your brothers in your heart. Entrust them to God's justice, which is far wiser than yours. Pray for your own healing, yes, the healing of bitterness, fear, and vengeful obsession. And then, if it is God's will, He may remove the trial; but if not, you will have gained something far greater: the unshakable peace of Christ that is the foundation of all joy. For He Himself came and preached peace to those who were far off and those who were near. Through Him we have access to the Father. Live in that peace, and let no bully rob you of it.

The pain in your prayer is raw and real. It is a deep violation to be hunted and harassed, to feel that wicked people are using tools you cannot see to target you and what is yours. That kind of attack makes you feel exposed and defenseless, and your cry for God to make it stop permanently is a cry He surely hears.

What you must hold onto right now is that the help of man is utterly vain, but the Lord is a shield. When David was surrounded by enemies who were too strong for him, he did not put his trust in political maneuvering or his own ability to outrun Saul. He learned from his youth that God Himself is our place of trust and our only certain hope. You are not meant to fight these unseen forces with earthly weapons. The equation changes entirely when you factor God into it. God and one soul is an overwhelming majority.

Those who invent tools of harm and speak proudly in their secret counsel are ultimately running a race they cannot win. There is a lie that whispers you can find success or satisfaction in destroying others, or that you can escape the gaze of the Almighty. They think God has forsaken you, giving them their chance to pounce. But it is a lie to believe you can run from God’s justice or His eventual dealing. Their own devices will enclose them; the day will come when they are terrified by nothing but a shaken leaf, fleeing when no one pursues. It is a terrifying thing to be handed over to your own wickedness.

Your prayer asks for permanent removal, and the Scriptures show us that God knows exactly how to scatter His enemies. Sometimes He does not slay them immediately, but He scatters them, brings them down, and puts them to flight before you so that you see with your own eyes that deliverance comes from Him alone. The very nature of the vicious enemy, like the Edomites who harassed Israel at every turn, is to vanish from history under the weight of their own hatred. You do not need to know how He will do it; you only need to know that He is able to draw you out of these deep waters and deliver you from the violent person.

Healing, too, is His work. You asked Him to heal you and your stuff. Just as the psalmist understood that God would bring his soul up from the depths, believe that God can restore what has been broken and repair the cellular-level damage that stress and malice try to inflict on your spirit and mind. He made a blanket for the earth to protect it from cosmic forces we cannot see, and He can certainly wrap a blanket of protection and peace around you right now. Let Him be the wall that is rebuilt around your life in a mere fifty, two days, giving you protection from the harassment so you can have rest.

Fix your eyes not on the bullies who are glad for your trouble, but on the Lord who lifts you up above those who rise against you. Let His eye trickle down upon your situation and behold it from heaven. He has promised to deliver you from evil, and His word commanded long ago that no weapon formed against you will ultimately prosper. Call upon Him who is worthy to be praised, and you shall be saved from your enemies. The joy that has ceased and the crown that has fallen will be restored, for He will make you alive again and lift you from this trouble.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart to join with you before the Lord, lifting up the pain and fear caused by these internet bullies, and asking for His divine intervention and protection. We have prayed fervently that God would silence their harmful words and actions permanently, that He would remove every tool they have used to cause you harm, and that He would heal every wound—both seen and unseen—that they have inflicted.

We are still standing in agreement with you, believing that God hears and answers prayer according to His will and His perfect timing. If the Lord has already moved in this situation and brought you peace, relief, or deliverance, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing and a source of strength to others who may be facing similar struggles.

If, however, the battle continues and you still feel under attack, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are here to lift you up continually, trusting that God will bring justice, restoration, and lasting protection over your life. We believe that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, shield you with His love, and fill you with the assurance that you are never alone. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting in His promises, and know that we are here to pray alongside you every step of the way. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
