Praise the Lord Jesus Christ

My name is ###. My daughter is applied for common counseling in ### for BTech engineering courses. But she didn't secure seat in this common counseling process.

Now I am waiting for the seats which she applied for fees waiver counseling in ### which is limited to 5%. As the counseling process is going on I request your prayers that she will get seat in ### under fees waiver counseling process. The Lord's mercy and love will help us more as we are going through severe financial crisis.

Thanking you
###

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up your daughter’s situation to Him who holds all things in His hands. We rejoice in your praise of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the hope of answered prayer. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We stand on this promise as we intercede for your daughter’s education.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to open the doors of opportunity for her in this fees waiver counseling process. You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your provision, especially in times of financial hardship. The psalmist declares in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." Lord, we claim this truth over this family. May Your mercy and love surround them, and may Your favor rest upon your daughter as she seeks a seat in this program.

We also pray for wisdom and peace as you wait. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Father, grant this family the patience to wait on Your timing and the faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we ask that You would not only provide the financial relief they need but also guide your daughter into the path You have prepared for her. May this season of waiting draw her closer to You, deepening her trust in Your plans for her future. We declare that no obstacle is too great for You, and we stand in agreement that Your will be done in this situation.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We can only imagine how heavy these weeks have been, waiting, watching, and carrying the pressure of a severe financial crisis at the same time. It’s no small thing to hope for a seat that only a small percentage will receive, and then to keep hoping when the first door didn’t open. We’re praying with you and your daughter right now, and we’re grateful you reached out.

While you wait, please don’t carry this weight in isolation. Many churches and Christian communities have practical ways to walk alongside families in financial hardship, whether through a deacons’ fund, a mercy ministry, or simply a wise elder who can help you think through your next steps. Letting someone at your local church know about this season of strain isn’t a lack of faith; it’s allowing the body of Christ to be what God designed it to be for you. Even a conversation about what’s available might ease some of the pressure.

We’re asking the Lord to guide this counseling process exactly according to His will, and to provide for your family’s needs in ways that deepen your trust in Him. We pray not only for a seat, but for steady hope, practical wisdom, and a sense of His nearness no matter the outcome.

Father, we bring this daughter before You. You know her name, her abilities, and the financial weight her family carries. In Your mercy, open the right door for her, a place where she can study, grow, and use the mind You gave her. Give this father peace in the waiting, courage to ask for help, and the comfort of knowing that You see their needs and walk with them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

How often the mercy of God steals upon us at the very moment when all earthly prospects seem to fail. You tell me your daughter found no place in the common counseling, and now you wait with trembling upon a narrow portion, five out of every hundred, under the fees waiver counseling. Your purse is light, and your heart is heavy. But this is precisely the singular season whereunto the Lord’s tender mercy has often made appointment to meet His needy children. I would have you look not so much at the smallness of the chance as at the greatness of the God who disposes of every seat according to the counsel of His own will.

False hope would bid you trust in percentages or schemes, but a sound hope in God’s mercy rests upon His character. He is “slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.” His rod of mercy is ever in His hands outstretched; and while you are yet calling upon Him, He may well forestall you, preparing the way for your daughter before the committee even sits. I have often proved that God’s mercy goes before, helping us to such tenderness of heart that we might cease from fretting and begin to trust. If He does give her this place, it shall be altogether gratis, a pure gift; and that will teach you to sing of His wondrous works all the more sweetly.

Yet settle this truth in your soul: whether the answer be yea or nay, the Lord’s mercy is not clean gone forever. He who spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all will not leave you to starve in the hour of temporal need. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s dear Son, cleanses us from all sin and opens the door to every fatherly provision. When the seat is withheld, it may be that a better door is even then swinging wide and God’s mercy is merely exchanging the silver of common favor for the gold of a far more exceeding weight of glory. I pray your daughter shall obtain mercy for that seat, but far more, that she may obtain Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. If He writes her name in the Lamb’s book of life, her education for eternity is secured, whether she study in that college or another.

Take hold upon the promise: “I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy.” The God of mercy will come to you in this wilderness of financial trial, and He will ask home questions that turn your trust from visible means to Himself alone. Then you shall know that He who made the heavens loves you, and that He who bought you with His blood will not suffer Heaven to be incomplete without your good. Let your prayers rise day by day, without fainting, and expect that while you are yet speaking, He will hear. I commend you to the faithful Keeper of Israel, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and I pray the angel of His presence shall bring you a swift message of peace. Yours in the bonds of the gospel,

You praise the Lord Jesus Christ, yet your mind is entangled in a web of counseling processes and percentages. Tell me, which is greater: a seat in an engineering course, or the remission of sins through His precious blood? Do you not recall that without the shedding of blood there is no remission? The very blood that was shed for you speaks of a mercy that far surpasses any fleeting worldly advantage. Why then do you tremble over a seat as though your very life depended upon it? Your daughter did not obtain a place in the common counseling; now you fix your hope on a sliver of five percent. Is this the faith that moves mountains? The woman with the issue of blood did not calculate percentages when she pressed through the crowd. She reached out in desperation, and Christ called her "daughter" because her faith had made her whole. And what did she gain? Not a seat in a school, but wholeness of body and soul. Now your daughter seeks to be made whole by a different means. Teach her to touch the hem of His garment, and then, if it be for her good, the seat will follow. For the Lord who clothes the lilies and feeds the ravens knows your financial distress more intimately than you know it yourself. He does not need a fee waiver to provide; He needs only a believing heart. You say, "The Lord's mercy and love will help us." True, His mercy and love have already helped you, in that He gave His only-begotten Son. If He did not spare His own Son, how will He not also freely give you all things? But examine your conscience: when you ask for this seat, is it merely to escape poverty, or is it for the sake of feeding Christ in the poor? Often we ask for things with a satanical motive, not a compassionate one. Do you desire this education so that your daughter may serve God and help others, or so that she may be lifted up in worldly pride? I do not forbid you to pray for her needs, but let the motive be clean.

Consider also that the baptism of repentance preached by John did not itself grant remission; it pointed toward the One whose blood would wash away sin. So too this seat cannot grant your daughter true security or remission from anxiety. The only true remission comes from the cross. If you would cry out to God, cry out first for a deeper repentance, for a stronger faith, for a heart that says, "Not my will, but Yours be done." Then, like the thief on the cross, you may receive more than you asked. Your daughter may be denied a seat, but if she receives Christ, she gains the treasure of heaven. A five percent chance in a human scheme is nothing; but one hundred percent is the certainty of God's love for those who trust in Him. Do not let this financial crisis drive you to despair, but drive you to the foot of the cross. The poor man who fears God is richer than the rich man who despises Him. You have brought your request to the church; now listen to the remedy. Pray that your daughter's faith may be proved genuine, that she may say with the Psalmist, "The Lord is my portion." If she learns this, she has the best education. And if the Lord sees fit to open a door, then let her enter with thanksgiving, not with pride. But if the door remains shut, let her bless the Lord just the same, knowing that He who shut it has prepared a better mansion. In the meantime, let your kindness to your family be not with grumbling or fear, but with the compassion of Christ. Feed them with hope, not with anxious words. You are waiting; so wait with patience. The Lord is not slow, but He desires that your soul be enlarged. So bring your petition, yes, but with hands unclenched from worldly ambition. The Lord hears; and His answer, whether yes or no, will be for your eternal good.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have asked for prayer concerning your daughter’s pursuit of a seat in the fee waiver counseling for her engineering studies, and you shared the weight of the financial crisis your family is enduring. Thank you for bringing this need before us. Let me share what these hopes and fears call to mind from the Scriptures, so that we can fix our eyes on the Lord together.

In the Old Testament, God commanded Moses to make the mercy seat, a solid gold covering for the Ark of the Covenant, with two cherubim bending over it. That was the place where the presence of the living God would dwell among His people, and from it He would speak. More than that, it was the throne of grace where mercy was extended toward sinners. When the high priest entered the Holy of Holies, he went before that mercy seat with blood, trusting God to forgive. The whole picture points forward to Jesus Christ. In Him, mercy and truth have met together; through His sacrifice, we now have confidence to draw near to the throne of grace and find help in our time of need.

You are asking for a specific seat for your daughter, a limited place in an academic program. It may feel as though mercy itself is scarce. But the mercy seat of our God is not limited the way human processes are. The Lord who sits enthroned between the cherubim looks upon you and your family with compassion. He knows the numbers that seem so fixed to us, and He knows the depth of your financial burden. He is not a God who is ever caught off guard, nor does He mismanage His resources. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.

I am reminded of how the early believers in Macedonia went through severe trials and deep poverty, yet they experienced an abundance of joy and surprising provision. Their need did not keep them from seeing God’s faithfulness. In the same way, whether this particular door opens or not, your situation is never a sign that the Lord has overlooked you. His mercy is always sovereign and always timely, even when it comes through unexpected paths.

Your request is not a small one; you are crying out for God’s intervention where human ability has failed. That is exactly the right place to be. Like King Hezekiah surrounded by enemies, you do not need to lift the spear yourself. The battle belongs to the Lord. He is able to open or shut doors, and He does so for the good of those who love Him.

We will pray with you that your daughter would receive a seat under that fee waiver counseling, and that God’s mercy would bring relief to your family in this financial testing. But beyond the outcome, we pray that you would know the nearness of the true Mercy Seat, Jesus Christ, who gave His own blood to bring us to God. There you will find grace to stand strong, whether in plenty or in want. Keep looking to Him, for He cares for you.

We are so grateful that you shared your burden with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer for your daughter’s future. It is a joy to lift her needs before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and provision. As you wait for the fees waiver counseling process, we continue to pray that the Lord would open the door for her to secure a seat in the engineering program, according to His will.

We know how heavy a financial crisis can weigh on a family, and we ask God to pour out His mercy and love in ways that bring peace and hope to your hearts. May He provide not only for this need but also remind you of His faithfulness in every season. If He has already answered this prayer in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would love to celebrate with you—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If the answer hasn’t come yet, we want to keep standing with you, so please post this request again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf.

May the Lord strengthen your faith as you seek Him, and may His grace sustain you through this time. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
