Prayer request

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ

My name is ###. Previously I have requested your prayers for my daughter for getting a seat in engineering in ### in fees waiver counseling. Since this is the last round I request your prayers that my daughter will get a seat in ###.

Thanking you
###

We rejoice with you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks for His faithfulness in hearing our prayers and working in our lives. We remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We have lifted your daughter before the throne of grace in previous prayers, and we continue to do so now, trusting that God’s will is perfect and His timing is best.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking that You open the door for this young woman to receive a seat in the engineering program at . Lord, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we trust that You have a plan for her life, a plan to prosper her and not to harm her, to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You guide the decisions of those in authority, soften hearts, and make a way where there seems to be no way. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it.

We also pray for wisdom and peace for this family as they wait. Lord, let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Remind them that You are their provider and that You care deeply for their needs. Strengthen their faith as they trust in You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We declare that no weapon formed against this family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that God’s favor will rest upon them. We stand on the promise that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1 John 5:14). We believe that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust Him to work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

May this young woman grow in her walk with You, Lord, and may this opportunity be a stepping stone to the great plans You have for her life. We pray that she would seek You first in all things and that her life would be a testimony to Your goodness and grace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

, we are joining you in this moment of waiting and hope. It’s clear how deeply you care about your daughter’s future, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer as this final round unfolds. The pressure of a last opportunity can feel heavy, but your love and persistence have already carried her this far.

We find it helps to remember that God’s provision does not always come in the form we expect, but it is always timed and tailored to our true needs. The outcome of this seat allotment does not define your daughter’s worth or God’s commitment to her. Whatever happens, her life and her gifts remain secure in hands far bigger than any admissions process. That doesn’t erase the tension of waiting, but it can steady us in it.

In the days ahead, try to find small ways to remind her, and yourself, that you are not alone in this. Maybe share a quiet moment together, not just rehearsing the worries but naming the things you’re each grateful for right now. It can lighten the load a little. And if the answer isn’t what you’ve been asking for, give yourselves space to feel the disappointment without losing sight of the doors God may yet open.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, we bring and his daughter before you. You know the desire of their hearts for this seat and this future. We ask for your will to be done in this final round, and we ask for peace that surpasses understanding to guard their minds and hearts. Give them patience in the waiting, wisdom for whatever comes next, and a deep trust that you are already in their tomorrow. Surround this daughter with your guidance and provide for her in ways that make your love unmistakable. In your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The last round of this fees waiver counsel, so your words name it, and your heart hangs upon the outcome. Yet remember how the Master deals with first and last in His kingdom. That which seems the final opportunity in the sight of men may prove the very moment for His sovereign hand to move. We are not dealing with a legal paymaster who tallies merits, but with a God of grace who measures by His own measurement, not ours. Those who come last in human reckoning often stand first in His eternal design.

A Christian woman ought not to be afraid with any amazement in such a season. Look to Sarah, who counted Him faithful who promised and sat calm as a queen amidst circumstances that would drive others to distraction. Her holy confidence proved her lineage. So now, lift your daughter and this need before the Throne, and having laid it there, leave the matter quietly in His hands. The Lord who has carried you from the first will not abandon you at what appears the last.

Should the answer come in a form you did not expect, should the door not open as you desire, do not judge by sight. The judgment seat of God is the only true measure, and He makes no mistakes. Your daughter’s eternal standing and her daily walking in faith weigh more than any provisional seat in an institution. He who made the last equal to the first can open a way where there seems to be no way. Experimental dealings with Him prove this: when we faintly pronounce what we think is the last letter, we find His goodness more profound still.

Therefore pray with full assurance that He who carries His own even to hoar hairs will direct this outcome for His glory and her good. If she secures the seat, it will be by grace alone. If the answer tarries or turns, grace will still abound, and the Lord will not have begun to carry you both only to leave the work unfinished. What does it matter, after all, whether first or last in temporal things, when you both are members of Christ’s living body and your names are written in the Lamb’s book of life? Let your heart rest there, and may the peace of God that passes all understanding garrison your soul as you await His good pleasure.

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy. You ask me to pray that your daughter receive a seat through this fee waiver. But consider: what profit is it if she gains all the world’s learning and loses her soul? The blood of Christ, shed for the remission of sins, is the only true release from every debt. Without shedding of blood is no remission. Seek therefore that remission for her and for yourself, before all earthly seats.

I do not forbid you to seek provision, but examine your motive. Let it be kindness, not ambition; let it be compassion, not insolence. You are a poor petitioner, yet many are poorer still. How do you feed Christ in them? For they will perish that have not fed Him. What you ask, you ask in faith. But know that whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Do you trust God to give not only this seat, but life eternal? If your daughter is to be an ornament, let her be adorned with modesty and good works, not with the pride that knowledge often puffs up. Be a pattern to her of that humility which fears the Lord.

And remember: we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. What seat will your household hold there? A seat in a college is fleeting; the throne prepared by grace is forever. For this end John preached the baptism of repentance, that you might confess your sins and obtain the true remission that comes only through the cross. Not the baptism of John, but the blood of the New Testament, grants this gift.

I pray, then, that if this earthly allotment serves your salvation and hers, God may open the door. But more fervently I pray that He may grant you both to be washed, sanctified, and clothed in His own glory, that you may send up praise with a pure conscience, now and always. Amen.

How good it is that you are bringing your daughter’s need before the Lord again. There is a story in the Gospels about a mother who came to Jesus in desperation over her little girl. She was not part of the covenant people, yet she fell at His feet and pleaded until He answered. At first He seemed to draw back, but really He was drawing out her faith. Every time He took a step back, she stepped forward with even greater trust. He called her persistence something beautiful, and her daughter was set free from that very hour.

I remember that story whenever I pray for my own children. Jesus does not despise a parent who keeps coming to Him for one they love. This last round of fee waiver counseling might feel like the final moment, but the mercy seat is always open. That mercy seat, the lid of the ark, was the place where God promised to meet His people. It was a picture of His throne in heaven, not a throne of harsh judgment but a seat of mercy where help is waiting. The writer to the Hebrews tells us we can come boldly to that throne to receive mercy and find grace right when we need it.

So bring your daughter there again. Ask with confidence, not because you have the right words, but because the One seated on the mercy seat is Jesus, and He already gave Himself for you and for her. Do not let the looming deadline or the fear of disappointment drown out the truth that He cares perfectly for her future. The same Lord who cast the spirit out of that little girl holds every place in every engineering program in His hands. He can open a door no one can shut. Keep knocking with the same stubborn faith that mother showed, and leave the timing and the outcome to Him. We will join you in asking that His will be done and that His peace will guard your hearts right through the wait.
