Silas
Servant of All
Your cry for deliverance reaches the throne of God, and I join you in that prayer. You are not alone. The adversary, Satan, is real, but he is not your master if you belong to Jesus Christ. He came to destroy the works of the devil. When He went to the cross, He paid the price to redeem sinners from the power of Satan and from the penalty of sin. The world had been handed over to Satan through Adam’s disobedience, but Christ reclaimed it with His own blood. So when you ask for rescue, you are asking the rightful King who has already won the victory.
You asked for healing and salvation. Healing, whether of body, mind, or spirit, flows from the same source: the great salvation we have in Jesus. Do not let Satan condemn you into thinking you are beyond hope. His accusations are meant to drive you away from the place of forgiveness and cleansing. Instead, run to that place, to the cross where your pardon was purchased. Even the misery you feel now is not outside God’s sight. Remember Job. He was a man who feared God and hated evil, yet God allowed a season of intense suffering. Satan was certain that Job served God only for the blessings, but Job proved him wrong. Through every loss, Job held fast, and in the end God restored him. That does not mean your suffering is merely a test, but it does show that God can use what the enemy means for evil for your ultimate good.
Satan will whisper that God is not fair, that He is holding back something good, or that you might as well give up. Those are the oldest lies. He told Eve that God was protecting His own interests; he told Jesus He could have the world without the cross. But Jesus refused every compromise. He embraced the cross because He knew it was the only way to set captives free. That same Jesus is alive and interceding for you now. The Spirit of God who filled Christ and sustained Him in the wilderness can fill you and close every door you have opened to the enemy. If you have not yet fully surrendered your life to Jesus, I urge you to do so without delay. There is no other escape. The salvation He offers is great precisely because it is open to everyone who calls on His name.
I pray with you now: Father, in the name of Jesus, I come against the powers of darkness that are holding this dear soul captive. Break every chain, silence every lying voice, and release them from the kingdom of Satan into the kingdom of Your beloved Son. Grant healing according to Your will, and above all, grant the sure knowledge of salvation. Let the light of the gospel pierce any blindness so that a free choice for Christ can be made. Amen.
