Prayer Request

Blessed and Thankful

Prayer Warrior
Praying that Jesus will keep me in his hands safely and soundly from Satan and his kingdom. Praying for God to protect my body, that no weapon shall prosper against me, in the name of Jesus.

We hear your cry for divine protection and stand with you in agreement, lifting your request before the throne of grace. The Scriptures assure us that our God is a refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1 WEB) You are right to seek shelter in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy.

The enemy, Satan, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). But we take heart, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life, your health, and your peace in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

We pray that the Lord would surround you with His holy angels, that they may encamp around you and keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB). May the blood of Jesus cover you and your household, forming a hedge of protection that the enemy cannot penetrate. We declare that you are hidden in Christ, and no harm shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would strengthen this dear one in faith, that they may stand firm against the wiles of the devil. Clothe them with the full armor of God so that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, and may they know the height, depth, and breadth of Your protection and care.

Lord, we also pray for spiritual discernment, that this one may recognize the enemy’s tactics and resist him steadfast in the faith (James 4:7 WEB). May they walk in the light of Your Word, for Your Word is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Let no deception take hold, and may they be led by the Holy Spirit in all truth.

We declare that Satan has no authority over your life, for you have been bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. You are sealed by the Holy Spirit, and no one can snatch you out of the Father’s hand (John 10:28-29 WEB). We stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord will keep you from every evil; He will preserve your soul (Psalm 121:7 WEB).

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Rest in the assurance that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6 WEB). You are safe in His hands, and nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39 WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re grateful you reached out, and we’re standing with you in this. Wanting to be kept safe in Jesus’ hands is a deep, honest prayer, and it echoes our own hearts whenever we feel the weight of spiritual opposition. So thank you for letting us join our prayers with yours.

One thing we’ve found grounding when the enemy’s threats loom large is simply remembering whose hands hold us. Jesus has already defeated every dark authority, and His grip on you is not fragile. Your safety isn’t something you have to manufacture by getting the words exactly right or by feeling brave enough. It rests on Him. So in the moments when fear or accusation sneaks in, you can breathe out His name, Jesus, and lean into the peace He’s already given you. It’s not ignoring the battle; it’s knowing the Victor personally.

We also want to encourage you to keep praying short, honest prayers like the one you’ve already sent us. Speak them aloud if you can, declaring God’s protection over your body and mind, thanking Him that no weapon formed against you will prosper. The enemy hates that calm trust.

Here’s how we’re praying for you right now:

Lord Jesus, thank You that You hold us securely and nothing can snatch us from Your hand. We ask You to surround our friend with Your steady protection, guard their body, quiet their heart, and shield them from every scheme of the evil one. Let no weapon aimed at them succeed. Fill them with the deep peace of knowing they are hidden in You. In Your strong name we pray, amen.

You do well, indeed, to pray that the Lord Jesus would keep you safely within His almighty hands. It is a prayer which ever rises with acceptance before the Throne, for it pleads the very office of our Great Shepherd, who has promised that none shall pluck His sheep out of His hand. Satan may rage, and his kingdom may roar like a troubled sea, but that hand which made the heavens and upholds all things shall never let go its hold upon the feeblest lamb of the flock. Yet remember this: the promise of protection is not a couch for sloth, but a breastplate for battle. The Lord who keeps us does so through the means of grace, through watchfulness and prayer. If you would have no weapon prosper against you, take to yourself the whole armour of God, and above all, lift up the shield of faith. Faith is the victory which overcomes the world, and it quenches every fiery dart of the wicked one.

Let this be your confidence: Satan is a vanquished foe. Our Lord Jesus Christ met him in the wilderness, in the garden, and on the cross, and He broke his head forever. The old dragon may roar, but he is chained. He may accuse, but the Advocate pleads our cause. There is no weapon formed against you that can prosper while you are hidden in the wounds of the Crucified. Yet I would gently stir your heart to examine the ground of your hope. Is it fixed solely upon the finished work of Christ? Many are they who cry, “No weapon shall prosper against me,” while they walk hand-in-glove with the world and give slumbering place to sin. The promise of protection is for the child who walks in obedience and leans wholly upon the Beloved.

The devil will try you, but he shall not destroy you. He will consider your weak points, as he did with Job, but the Lord knows them also, and His grace is sufficient. When Satan tempts, it is not always to gross vice; he may try to make you believe you are an exception to mercy, or that your prayers are without power. Stand firm against such lies; they are the fiery darts. In the very heat of battle, remember that the Captain of your salvation has already won the day, and He intercedes for you at the right hand of the Father. There is no safety but in nearness to Him. Keep close to the Precious Blood, and you shall be kept. The dragon may spit his venom, but it shall not harm the soul that is sprinkled with that sacred crimson.

Rest then in the covenant, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” That is God’s own word, and it is firmer than the everlasting hills. Go your way in the strength of that promise, and let your life sing a psalm to spite the devil.
