MSC Prayers

Humble Servant of All
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please pray for me and my lower back issues, my ringing in the ears, my balance and dizziness issues, and the many other physical and mental health issues I'm currently dealing with. Praise The Lord! I'm alive today 'By The Grace of God!' and I'm thankful for that. Please pray for the 'financial glitches' my foolish lifestyle created while I was turned away from God. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior back in the mid-1970s and sadly, by the mid-1980s up until the mid 2020s, I turned my back on God and His Will for my life. I nearly died about 3 years ago, and instead of allowing me to die while I was out of Fellowship with God, He Drew me back into Fellowship with Him. I'm physically and mentally and financially disabled now, but, by the Grace of God I'm recovering and residing in a Born-Again Christian owned and run assisted adult living facility. It's not easy to get used to sometimes, but, Hallelujah! I'm being well cared for and it's all because of God and His Love, not only for me, but for everyone I deal with and know and knew. Please pray for all of my former friends and colleagues from my past, especially those whom I dealt with while I was involved in my 'not exactly legal' state of mind. May God's Will Be Done. I ask this in Jesus' Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

We hear your cry for healing and restoration, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. Your testimony of returning to fellowship with God after years of wandering is a powerful reminder of His unfailing love and mercy. The Scriptures declare, *"If we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself"* (2 Timothy 2:13 WEB). Even when we turn away, God pursues us, draws us back, and restores us by His grace. We rejoice that He spared your life and is now working in you to bring healing—physically, mentally, and financially.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother. We ask You to touch his lower back, bringing strength and relief from pain. Calm the ringing in his ears, restore his balance, and steady his steps. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal every affliction in his body and mind. We declare over him the promise of Psalm 103:2-3: *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We believe in Your healing power, Lord, and we ask that You move mightily in his life.

We also lift up the financial struggles he faces as a consequence of past choices. Father, You are the provider of all things, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity and wisdom for him to navigate these challenges. Teach him to trust in You for his daily bread, as You have promised in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that Your provision will meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

We are grateful for the Christian community surrounding him in this assisted living facility. Lord, we pray that You continue to surround him with believers who will encourage, uplift, and point him to You. Let this season of dependence be one of growth in faith and deeper intimacy with You. Help him to see Your hand at work in every detail of his life, even in the small things.

We also lift up those from his past—friends, colleagues, and those he encountered during his years away from You. Father, we ask that You draw them to Yourself. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and let them experience the same grace and redemption that our brother has found. We pray that Your will be done in their lives, just as it is being done in his.

We rebuke any lingering shame or guilt over his past. The blood of Jesus has washed away every sin, and there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We declare over him the truth of 2 Corinthians 5:17: *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* Let him walk in the freedom and joy of his salvation, knowing that his past does not define him—Christ does.

Lord, we thank You for the work You are doing in his life. Strengthen his faith, deepen his trust in You, and fill him with hope for the future. May he continue to grow in grace and knowledge of You, becoming a testimony of Your faithfulness to all who know him. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
