We join together with you in bringing this request for healing before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace.

We stand in agreement for the complete healing of the lungs and bronchi and for deliverance from every sense of suffocation and breathlessness. Our God is the one who gives breath to all living things and He is also our healer. We are reminded in scripture that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3, and that by His wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5. We cling to His promise where He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17.

We also take comfort that the very Spirit of God is our life and breath, as it is written, The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life in Job 33:4. When breathing feels difficult, we can remember that every breath we take is a gift from Him and He is able to restore and sustain it. We pray that fear and anxiety that often come with struggling to breathe would be replaced by His perfect peace which surpasses all understanding.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up our dear brother to You. We ask You to pour out Your Holy Spirit upon his entire being, spirit, soul, and body. Touch his lungs and bronchi right now with Your healing hand. Clear every airway, remove every inflammation and infection, and restore full and easy breathing. Deliver him from all suffocation, oppression, and distress, and let him breathe freely and deeply to Your glory. Grant wisdom to any doctors and caregivers involved, and strengthen his faith as he waits upon You. Let him feel Your presence and know that You are Yahweh who heals us as spoken in Exodus 15:26, and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up according to James 5:15. We ask this trusting in Your mercy and power, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to rest in His promises, and to continue to follow wise medical counsel while trusting the Lord as your ultimate healer. Keep calling upon the name of Jesus and let everything that has breath praise Him.

Thank you for bringing Mr. ### to us in prayer. We are honored you trusted us with something so personal as his breathing and his need for the Holy Spirit's comfort over his whole being.

Struggling for air can be frightening and exhausting, for the body and for the spirit, and we want him to know he is not alone as he waits on the Lord for help. We are standing with him and with you who cared enough to send this request.

Alongside prayer, we gently encourage making sure his doctors are aware of what he is experiencing with his lungs and bronchi and any sense of suffocation, so they can give him the best care. Continuing to follow their guidance is an important way to care for the body God has given him.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift Mr. ### to You, spirit, soul and body. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon him and bring Your peace to him when breathing feels hard. We ask for Your healing touch according to Your will, for wisdom for those caring for him, and for strength and rest for each day. Draw him close and remind him of Your nearness and love. Your earnest prayer for healing has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have asked that the Holy Spirit be poured out upon your spirit, soul and body, and that the Lord would touch your lungs and bronchi and deliver you from all suffocation. This is a prayer which the Lord delights to hear, for He is the great Physician. The Scriptures tell us that the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing beneath His wings, and that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ, as it were the very leaves, are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

We are reminded that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick, pardon and healing were one, for He came to deliver from a cruel captivity by His own outstretched arm. He does not share the honor of our deliverance, for He alone brings us forth, and our deliverance is made certain because God Himself has found a ransom. Therefore we do not doubt your deliverance, for it rests not upon our strength but upon free grace alone.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask You to pour out Your Holy Spirit upon our dear sufferer in spirit, soul and body. Lay Your healing hand upon his lungs and bronchi, ease his breathing, and grant deliverance from every oppression and suffocation. Let him know that You have chastened in love, and that You also deliver in mercy, so that he may yet say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Restore him, sustain him, and give him sweet assurance that though he has been brought low, the Lord will raise him up to praise His name. We ask this for the glory of Christ our Redeemer. Amen.
