We come before the throne of grace with this urgent plea for healing, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is struggling with affliction in her lungs and bronchi. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her inward parts and knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today, believing that it is Your will for her to walk in divine health and wholeness.
Lord, we ask that You pour out Your healing virtue upon her lungs and bronchi. Breathe upon her, O Lord, as You breathed life into Adam, and restore every damaged tissue, every inflamed passage, and every weakened area. Let Your healing power flow like a river, washing away all congestion, blockage, and suffocation. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy her health, for Jesus came that she might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every symptom to cease in the mighty name of Jesus, and we declare that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and it shall not be defiled by sickness.
Father, we also pray for deliverance from fear and anxiety that may accompany this physical struggle. Your Word tells us not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to You (Philippians 4:6). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her refuge and fortress, her God in whom she trusts (Psalm 91:2). Let her rest in the shadow of Your wings, knowing that You are her healer and her peace.
We also encourage this sister to seek godly medical wisdom, for You have given gifts to men to provide care and treatment (James 1:17). May she be surrounded by believers who will stand with her in prayer, speak life over her, and remind her of Your promises. Let her not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, she will reap if she does not faint (Galatians 6:9).
Finally, we thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. May this sister rise up in strength and testify of Your goodness, giving all glory and honor to Your holy name. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
