We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for this dear sister in Christ who is seeking healing for her lungs and bronchi, and deliverance from suffocation. It is our privilege to stand in the gap with her, lifting her up in prayer and seeking the Lord’s divine intervention.
First, we want to affirm that healing is indeed God’s will for His children. The Word declares in 1 Peter 2:24, "who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed." Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross not only secured our spiritual healing but also our physical healing. We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is able to restore health and bring complete deliverance from this affliction.
We also recognize the power of the Holy Spirit to minister healing and comfort. In Romans 8:26, we read, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." We trust that the Holy Spirit is interceding even now for this sister, bringing her petition before the Father with perfect understanding of her need.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and healed. Lord, we lift up this sister to You, asking that You pour out Your healing power upon her lungs and bronchi. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, suffocation, and oppression in the name of Jesus. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over her life today.
Father, we ask that You fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen her faith as she waits on You, reminding her that You are her healer and deliverer. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed, and we speak life and wholeness over her body. May Your Holy Spirit breathe fresh life into her lungs, restoring every cell and tissue to perfect health.
We also pray for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers, that You would guide their hands and decisions as they provide care. Give her the strength to endure this trial and the patience to wait on Your perfect timing. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already hers in Christ Jesus. We seal this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus and declare that she is healed, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
To this sister, we encourage you to stand firm on God’s promises, even when the symptoms may linger. Healing is a process, and the Lord is working even when we cannot see it. Continue to meditate on Scriptures that declare God’s healing power, such as Psalm 103:2-3: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Speak these truths over your life daily, and do not grow weary in trusting the Lord.
If you have not already, consider reaching out to your church community for prayer and support. James 5:14-15 instructs, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." There is power in corporate prayer, and we believe the Lord will move mightily as His people stand together in faith.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your ultimate healing, spiritually, emotionally, and physically, is found in Jesus Christ alone. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and His healing power.
May the Lord bless you abundantly and fill you with His peace as you trust in Him. You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord is your strength and your shield. We continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete healing and restoration.
