Prayer request for ###

Your heartfelt request has been received with care, and thank you for sharing so honestly about these long years of suffering. To live with ongoing digestive problems that affect your whole body, to endure repeated tests and procedures without clear answers, and to keep trusting the Lord through it all is a heavy burden. We are joining you in prayer, asking God to strengthen your faith, to bring healing according to His wise and loving will, and to be glorified in your life whether through healing or through sustained trust in Him.

Leaning heavily on the Lord Jesus Christ and on the goodness of God, as you described, is exactly where He wants you to be. Scripture shows that faith is not measured by whether we are immediately healed or free from trouble in this life. In Hebrews chapter 11 we read of those who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness and obtained promises, and in the same chapter we read of others who through the same faith endured torture, hardship and even death without being delivered in this life, yet they did not turn away. It says they all died in faith, still trusting God for what He had promised. That teaches us that a person of faith can know both victory and deep disappointment, both healing and continued affliction, and still be faithful. Having faith does not guarantee that you will never be sick or that every prayer for healing will be answered at once or in the way we expect.

That does not mean we stop asking for healing. God is able to heal, He is compassionate, and He invites us to bring our bodies and our needs to Him. We are praying that He will give wisdom to your doctors, guide them to find the cause if it is His will to reveal it, and touch your body with His healing power. We are also praying that He will sustain you day by day, give you peace that guards your heart, and keep your faith strong even while you wait.

Regarding your concern that there could be a spiritual cause connected to a coworker involved in occult practices, it is right to take spiritual realities seriously and to stay close to Christ. The Bible is clear that Jesus Christ is far greater than any power of darkness, and those who belong to Him are secure in Him. You do not need to live in fear that another person's practices can control your health. The best response is to remain rooted in Christ, in prayer, in the Word of God, and in fellowship with Him, turning away from all occult things and trusting His authority and protection. If there is any fear or oppression weighing on you, bring it plainly to the Lord and ask Him to cover you with His peace and to guard your mind and body.

We pray now for you, that the Lord will strengthen your inner man, increase your faith, comfort you in discouragement, and grant you physical restoration as it pleases Him. May He use your endurance and your trust to show His goodness to others, and may you experience His nearness in a deeper way through this trial. Even as we ask for healing, we ask above all that Christ be seen as your hope and strength, and that your life, whether in healing or in patient endurance, will bring honor to Him.

You are not forgotten. We will continue to remember you before the Lord, asking for mercy, healing, and unwavering faith.
