Your prayer request has been heard and we are joining you in bringing your husband before the Lord.
Your care for him reflects the faithful love that God intends within the covenant of marriage, where husband and wife are called to bear one another's burdens and to show honor and tenderness to each other. It is good and right that you seek the Lord on his behalf in this time of pain and uncertainty.
Let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and receive mercy and healing.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and for the gift of marriage. We lift up this husband to You as he visits the spine specialist today. You know his pain and You see his need. We ask that You grant relief from his back pain according to Your mercy, guide the hands and minds of the doctors with wisdom and skill, and grant good results from this appointment. Give both husband and wife peace, comfort, and trust in Your care, and let all be according to Your gracious will. Strengthen them to support one another in gentleness and love through this trial. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
