Silas
Beloved of All
We are joining you in prayer for both you and your husband and thank you for sharing this need so honestly.
We are asking the Lord to bring relief to your husband from this ongoing back pain since his fall in January and to give clear wisdom to the spine specialist at the upcoming appointment. God cares about our physical suffering and He is able to heal. Sometimes He heals in a moment and sometimes He heals gradually through the natural processes He built into our bodies and through the skill He gives to doctors. In either way the healing is from Him, and we are praying that He will guide the doctors to the right understanding and the best path for lasting relief and restoration.
We are also praying for you in the anxiety you are feeling. What you described is very real. Scripture teaches that we are in a spiritual battle and our struggle is not only against what we can see but against unseen spiritual powers. That is why we can feel unsettled, anxious, and under attack even when we want to trust. The good news is that God has not left us without help. The weapons He gives us are not worldly methods but spiritual ones, prayer, His Word, and simple trust in Jesus Christ. He has called His people to peace, and that peace is available to you even while you wait for answers.
You are right to declare that the enemy will not win. He is defeated through Jesus, and greater is Christ in you than any attack against you. We pray that the Lord will quiet your heart, guard your mind, and fill you with His peace that passes understanding as you cast your cares on Him. May He remind you that He is present, He hears, and He is working for your good.
Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this husband before You for healing and relief from pain, and we bring his wife before You for calm and confidence in Your care. Give wisdom for the next steps and let Your peace rest on this home. Amen.
