Pray please

Beloved of All
My parent’s marriage and great successful school year filled with wisdom, great grades, understanding, and joy for me and my siblings, friends, and parents.

We lift your heartfelt request to the Lord with great earnestness, seeking His divine intervention and blessing over your family and your upcoming school year. First, we pray for your parents' marriage, a sacred covenant established by God Himself. The Bible tells us, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate" (Mark 10:9 WEB). We ask the Lord to strengthen their bond, fill their home with love, patience, and unity, and protect them from any division or strife. May they reflect Christ’s love for the Church in their relationship, honoring one another as Scripture commands (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of discord, pride, or unforgiveness that may seek to disrupt their marriage. We declare that their home will be a place of peace, built on the foundation of Your Word. "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1 WEB). May they seek You together in prayer, grow in faith, and model a godly marriage for their children.

For your school year, we pray for wisdom, understanding, and excellence in your studies. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). We ask that the Lord open your mind to comprehend His truth and that you would apply yourself diligently, not just for good grades, but to honor Him with your efforts. May you be a light to your classmates, demonstrating integrity, kindness, and a hunger for righteousness.

We also pray for joy to fill your heart and the hearts of your siblings and friends. "The joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10 WEB). In the midst of challenges, may you find Your peace and hope in Christ. Guard your friendships, that they would be edifying and uplifting, encouraging one another in faith and good works.

Lord, we thank You for the gift of family and the opportunity to learn and grow. We ask that You would go before each member of this household, guiding their steps and drawing them closer to You. May this school year be marked by Your presence, Your provision, and Your purpose. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, for there is no other name by which we can come to You. Amen.

We noticed the way you put your parents first in your request, and then lifted up everyone around you for this school year. That tells us a lot about your heart for your family and friends.

We are praying with you for your parents' marriage, that their home would be a place where each of them feels safe, heard, and cherished. When hearts feel safe they tend to open, and when they feel unsafe they tend to close, so even small acts of honor and kindness in a home matter. One simple step you can take as their child is to keep showing respect and gratitude to each of them, and to pray for them quietly and consistently, trusting God to work in ways only He can.

For the school year, we love that you asked for wisdom and understanding, not just grades. Wisdom grows as we seek God and also use the practical helps He provides. It can help to build a steady rhythm for study, ask for help early when something is confusing, and encourage your siblings and friends to do the same, so joy can grow alongside learning.

Father, we lift this family to You. Watch over this marriage and draw each heart closer to You and to one another. Grant wisdom, understanding and joy to this student, their siblings, friends and parents in the months ahead, and help them to know Your presence in both home and school. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we rejoice to join our hearts with yours in prayer for these tender and weighty mercies.

We will entreat the Lord for your parents, that their marriage may be strengthened and kept in the grace of God. Marriage is not a light bond but a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, cemented by mutual love, wherein the two become one. So the Lord says, I am married unto you, and He would have earthly marriage reflect that holy union between Christ and His Church. We pray that He will knit your father and mother together in truth and affection, in patience and forgiveness, that their home may be ordered in love and peace, and that they may walk together in the way of wisdom which is the way of God.

We will pray also for you and your siblings and friends, and for your parents as they guide you, that the Lord who is made of God unto us Wisdom will grant you a school year marked by true understanding and joy. Wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which he steers across the trackless waste of life, and it is not found in mere books but in Him who teaches truth in the inward parts. May He give you diligence in your studies, clarity of mind, and a teachable spirit, that you may grow in knowledge and in grace. We ask that He will grant you great understanding in what you learn, and that your labor may bear fruit in good success, and above all that joy may abound in your homes and in your classes, the joy which comes from walking near to Christ.

May the Lord turn His gracious eye upon your household as He turned and looked upon Peter, not to condemn but to restore and to bless. May He purge and cleanse and make you to know wisdom in the hidden part, and keep you all in His fear and love through this year and all your days. We commend you to Him who hears prayer and who delights to give wisdom liberally to them that seek it, trusting that He will do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask, for Christ's sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this prayer request. I join you in bringing your parents and your school year before the Lord in prayer.

I pray for your parents' marriage, that God would strengthen it and guard it as the lifelong covenant He designed it to be between one man and one woman. May He deepen their love for each other and for Christ, give them patience, kindness, and faithfulness, and help them to build their home on His Word so that their union would be a steady and godly example to you and your siblings.

I also pray for you and for your siblings, your friends and your parents, as you begin this school year. I ask God to grant you true wisdom and understanding, which comes from Him, and to give you diligence and joy in your studies. May He help you to be faithful in your work, to learn with a clear mind and a sincere heart, and to use what you learn for His glory and for the good of others. I pray for good fruit from your efforts, for peace in your home and friendships, and for a year marked by growth, encouragement and joy.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, to listen to His Word with reverence and to walk in obedience. As you do your part with endurance and self discipline, trust Him to provide the strength and blessing that only He can give. May the Lord bless you and keep you and cause you to grow in grace and knowledge this year.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your parents and for a year marked by wisdom and joy is beautiful, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord.

I pray first for your parents' marriage. God designed marriage so that two become one. It is a profound unity, two lives joined into one life and one covenant. Scripture teaches that the Lord our God is one, and that oneness is a compound unity, and marriage is meant to reflect that. It is not simply two people living side by side, but a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman made one by God. I pray God will strengthen that oneness in your parents, guard their love, deepen their friendship, give them grace to forgive, to speak kindly, to remain faithful, and to show you and your siblings what steadfast love looks like.

I also pray for you, your siblings, your friends, and your parents for this school year. True wisdom and understanding do not come only from study, but from the Lord, and I pray He will give you all a hunger to seek Him first, to listen well, to think clearly, and to use what you learn for His glory. I pray for joy that is not dependent on circumstances, for peace in your homes and classrooms, and for diligence in your work that He may be honored in your efforts and in your grades.

As you ask for wisdom, remember that wisdom also protects us from folly. Even one foolish choice can bring consequences that last a long time, so I pray God will give you and those you love a careful and discerning heart, to turn quickly from what is harmful and to choose what is right even when it is not the easy path. In a school environment where many voices compete for your attention, I pray you will be kept steady, that you will endure in faith even when following Jesus is not popular, and that you will find strength to stand for what is good.

Above all, I pray that each of you will know the cleansing that only Jesus brings. Sin stains the heart in a way no one can see from the outside, and no good grades or good behavior can wash it away. Only the blood of Jesus can make a heart clean and new, and when He does, the evidence is a changed life, a heart that turns from sin, seeks to make things right, and desires to follow Him. I pray that this year will be marked by that kind of true inward change and outward fruit for you and your family and friends, and that your joy will be rooted in knowing you are forgiven and loved by Him.

May the Lord bless your parents' union, keep your family close to Himself, and grant you all a year of growth in wisdom, understanding, and genuine joy in Christ.
