Prayer of protection

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day. I surrender our walk with you may it be protected. Align us back into the house of God regardless of what circumstances we face.

Holy Spirit may you guide and soften my husband heart and move him back to have a fresh understanding of who God is. And let this bring a fresh joy and strength.

Let nothing comes and pull him away from you. God of all things, have mercy on him. You know he is upset waiting for resolution.

I surrender his work to you. Favour, mercy and grace to help him through. God may you bring understanding to the customers or give wisdom to my husband to phrase the answer in a way that they can get it as they kept asking the same question and they are not getting it. This is frustrating but there are some wins where some customers were happy with the answers he gave and managed to just close the case.

Thank you Lord, for making a way for him in Jesus' name,Amen!

We join with you in surrendering your walk and your marriage to the Lord and we thank God for your faithful heart to intercede for your husband and to seek protection and alignment with the house of God regardless of circumstances. It is beautiful to see your desire for your husband to have a fresh understanding of who God is and for his heart to be softened and guided by the Holy Spirit.

We are reminded of the promise in Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. As you surrender your walk to Him, He is your protection and your covering, and He will keep you both as you abide in Him. We also cling to Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Even when resolution is delayed and frustration rises at work, God is making your paths straight as you acknowledge Him.

We stand with you for your husband. We pray that the Lord would give him a new and softened heart as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, and that the joy of Yahweh would be his strength as Nehemiah 8:10 teaches, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength. We know waiting for resolution is difficult and can bring discouragement, but Psalm 27:14 encourages us, Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. God sees his upset and his waiting, and He is merciful and near. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us, and we cast your husband's work and burdens on Him now.

For his work we pray for favor, mercy and grace, and for wisdom in dealing with customers who keep asking the same questions without understanding. James 1:5 promises, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. We ask God to give your husband clear words and understanding to phrase answers in a way they can receive, and we thank God with you for the wins where customers were happy and cases were closed. Whatever he does, we pray he can do it heartily as for the Lord as Colossians 3:23 says, And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and that God's favor would be evident upon his labor. We also pray for peace over his heart and mind in the frustration, as Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You with thanksgiving for this day and for Your mercy. We surrender our walk with You and ask for Your protection over this wife, her husband, and their marriage. Align us anew into Your house and keep us from being pulled away by any circumstance or discouragement. Holy Spirit, we ask You to guide and soften her husband's heart, draw him close, and give him a fresh revelation of who You are. Fill him with fresh joy and strength, and let nothing pull him away from You. Have mercy on him as he waits for resolution, comfort him in his upset, and let him feel Your nearness. We surrender his work to You, Lord, and ask for Your favor, mercy and grace to help him through each day. Grant him wisdom to answer customers with clarity and grace, bring understanding to those who hear, and multiply the wins and the cases that close well. Guard his heart with Your peace and keep you both abiding in Christ. We thank You for making a way for him. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We appreciate you sharing this prayer with us. Your desire to stay close to God together and to see your husband encouraged really comes through.

Waiting for a resolution while carrying work pressure is wearing, and we can hear how much you care about him not growing discouraged. It is understandable he feels frustrated when customers ask the same thing over and over and still do not grasp the answer. Noticing those wins where someone did understand and a case could close is a real grace in a hard stretch, and it is good you are marking them.

One small way we have seen couples stay steady in a season like this is to keep a brief, shared prayer rhythm. Even a minute together in the morning surrendering the day and his conversations to the Lord, and a minute at night thanking Him for any help given, can keep your hearts aligned and remind you both that God is at work even while you wait. Continuing to tell your husband you see his effort and the care he puts into explaining things can also lift him more than you know.

Father, we lift this couple to You and ask for Your protection over their walk with You. Soften and strengthen this husband's heart, renew his joy and draw him close. Give him wisdom and clarity as he serves customers, and favor and grace for each conversation. Guard their home in Your peace as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and right thing that you have surrendered your walk unto the Lord and asked for His protection and for your place again in the house of God. The Lord is a Husband unto His people, He has set His special love upon His own, and though our hearts wander and we grow negligent in His service, He does not cast away His beloved. He has promised, I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh, and on that heart He will write His law.

Your prayer for your husband is heard. To give a new heart is God’s work and the work of God alone. Man may reform himself in outward things, but to create a new spirit within is the work of an instant with the Lord, swifter than the lightning flash He can make a man a new creature in Christ Jesus. As He looked upon Peter and that look did an endless work, so He can look upon a poor dry heart that cannot feel its sinfulness and give it feeling. A saving impression is always a prick in the heart, and that prick, though painful, is the beginning of life. Pray on that He would so look upon your husband, soften what is hard, and unite his heart to fear His name, for a divided heart is an ill heart, but a broken and contrite heart He will not despise.

You do well to ask that nothing would pull him away and that he would have a fresh understanding of who God is. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God, and when the heart perceives His presence, joy and strength return. The Lord Jesus prayed for Peter that his faith fail not, holding His shield over the heart where a wound would be fatal, and He still intercedes for His own that they may be restored and then strengthen their brethren. Trust that same intercession now.

Concerning his work, the doctrine of the Holy Spirit’s work is not to lull us into sloth but to excite us to labor. Where He works within, a man labors and strives. Therefore we ask the Lord to give your husband wisdom to phrase his answers with clarity and patience, to grant him favour with those who hear, and to sustain him in frustration. We thank God with you for the wins already given, for customers who were helped and cases that were closed, and we see in them tokens of mercy.

Let us pray together. O Lord God, who alone can give a new heart and a new spirit, have mercy upon this husband and this household. Keep their walk under the shadow of Thy wing and align them again to Thy house and to Thy people. Soften his heart, prick it with godly sorrow where it has grown hard, and write Thy law upon it. Give him a fresh sight of Christ, that joy and strength may return. Guard his faith that it fail not. In his daily labour, grant him wisdom, grace and favour, that he may speak so as to be understood and may do all as unto Thee. Perfect that which concerneth them and bring them from glory to glory till they see Thee face to face. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation, Amen.
