Needs prayer as heavy rain is going on entering my home .needs prayer for protection from flood like condition.

We are lifting you up together before the throne of grace for protection as heavy rain is entering your home and threatening flood conditions, and we ask for God's mercy and deliverance over you and your household in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that God is sovereign even over the wind and the rain, and He is our shelter in the storm. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Isaiah 43:2 promises When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. Psalm 91:1 and Psalm 91:2 declare He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Nahum 1:7 reminds us Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him. Even as Jesus showed His power over creation, Matthew 8:27 says the wind and the sea obey him, and we know He is able to calm this storm and restrain these waters.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by putting our faith and trust in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly to Him in every trouble, and we encourage you to call upon His name.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one facing heavy rain and water entering the home. Lord, we ask You to command these waters to recede and to protect this home and all who dwell in it from harm. Place Your hand of protection around this property, keep the waters from rising further, and guard against damage, sickness, and loss. Give wisdom to know how to stay safe, to move belongings and to seek higher ground if needed, and to heed wise counsel from local authorities. Bring peace to this anxious heart and let Your presence be felt as a refuge in this frightening time. We ask You to calm the storm according to Your will and to provide comfort, provision, and restoration in the days ahead. Help this dear one to trust in You and to know that You are near to all who call upon You through Jesus Your Son. We ask all this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and our deliverer, Amen.

We encourage you to keep calling on the Lord, to stay as safe as possible and to take practical steps for protection while trusting Him to be your stronghold. Keep your eyes on Him, pray without ceasing, and let His peace guard your heart as you wait for His deliverance.

We are praying for you right now as the heavy rain continues and water is coming into your home. We know how frightening that is, to watch water rise inside where you should feel safe and not know how much more is coming. You are not facing this alone and we are standing with you in prayer.

Please make your own safety the first priority ahead of belongings. If the water keeps rising, move people and pets to higher ground, even if it means stepping away from the house for a while. If you can do it without stepping in water, turn off electricity where water is entering, keep your phone charged and with you, and let a trusted neighbor or family member know where you are and what is happening. Have important documents and a small bag ready if you need to leave quickly. If at any point you feel unsafe or the water rises fast, please reach out right away to your local emergency services or local authorities for help.

We are asking the Lord to stay close to you through this storm and to keep you steady.

Father, we lift our friend to You in the middle of this rain and flooding. Please protect them and their household, keep them safe from harm, and hold back further water from their home. Give them clear wisdom for each next decision, calm their heart with Your nearness, and send caring people to help. Bring this rain to an end soon and provide what is needed in the days ahead. We have heard your urgent cry as heavy rain enters your home and the waters threaten to rise like a flood, and we join with you in earnest prayer before the throne of grace.

We entreat the Lord who holds the winds and the waters in His hand to have mercy upon you and to set a boundary to the rain. May He who said to the sea, Hitherto shalt thou come and no further, command these waters to abate and keep your dwelling and your household in safety. We pray that He will preserve you from harm, guard your home from destruction, and give you peace in the midst of this storm.

Remember that our God is a very present help in trouble. As it is written, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, therefore will not we fear though the waters roar. And again, When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. His presence is the only true protection of His people, and He has promised, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

In the days of Noah, the flood swept all away save those who were sheltered in the ark, and that ark sets forth Christ Jesus our Lord, who alone is the refuge for sinners. If you have fled to Him by faith, you are safe in Him though floods may rise around you, for your soul is anchored and your sins are cast behind His back. Cast your care upon Him now, for He careth for you, and trust Him both for the needs of the body and the needs of the soul.

We pray that the Lord will keep you and all who are with you, that He will stay the waters, make a way of escape, and quiet your heart with the assurance that He neither slumbers nor sleeps who keeps His people. May He grant you wisdom and help from those near you, and bring you through this trial to praise Him for His delivering goodness.

We will continue to bear you up before the Lord, asking Him to spread His protecting hand over you until this danger is past.

Your urgent request for prayer has been heard, and we are praying with you now as the heavy rain continues and water is entering your home.

We know how distressing it is to feel surrounded and drenched on every side by tribulation, and to fear what the rising water may do. In such moments we remember the word of the Lord who said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He does not turn away from those who call upon Him in trouble, for the Scripture promises that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

So we bring you and your household before God, asking for His merciful protection. We pray that He who commands the winds and the waters would restrain this rain and keep back the flood from overwhelming your home. We ask Him to guard your life and the lives of those with you, to keep you safe from harm, to preserve your dwelling as far as it serves His good purpose, and to give you wisdom to take every prudent step for safety. We ask also for His comfort to strengthen your heart, that even while you are anxious you may know His peace and His nearness, and that you may be upheld by faith in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have refuge and salvation.

May the Lord be your shelter in this storm, your help in trouble, and your rest when you are weary. We will continue to pray for you, that the waters would recede, that you would be protected, and that you would see His faithful care in the days ahead.
