Please pray for my return to The LORD. Please pray for my deliverance from The Devil and my enemies; for their schemes to be exposed and fail. Please pray for healing for my backsliding and body. Please pray for my health. Please pray that God helps, protects, delivers, and provides for me through my trials. Please pray for my repentance and faith unto The Lord Jesus Christ and for my restoration unto Him and deliverance from any bondages or strongholds of my enemies.

We join with you in this cry for return and restoration and we thank God that you have a desire to come back to Him, for that desire itself is evidence of His Spirit drawing you. The Lord does not cast away a repentant heart and He promises to heal backsliding when we turn to Him in humility and faith.

We take comfort in what is written, Return, you backsliding children, I will heal your backsliding Jeremiah 3:22 and I will heal their waywardness; I will love them freely Hosea 14:4. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Your repentance and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way back, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to the Father, and we rejoice that you have called upon His name. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We also stand with you for deliverance from the devil and from every scheme of your enemies. Scripture is clear that we must submit ourselves to God and actively resist the enemy. Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you James 4:7-8. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. We pray that every bondage and stronghold be broken in the name of Jesus and that every hidden scheme be exposed and brought to nothing, for No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We lift up your body and your health before the Lord who is our healer. He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and He promises But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. By His wounds we have been healed through Christ Isaiah 53:5. We ask Him to touch your body, to strengthen you, and to heal the wounds that backsliding and trials have left upon you.

We also pray for His help, protection and provision through these trials. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Even in trial He is working for your good, for We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We encourage you to walk out this repentance daily by staying in the Word, in prayer, in fellowship with other believers, and by turning away completely from anything that gave the enemy a foothold. Confess sin quickly, flee temptation, and fill your mind with truth. God is not only able to forgive but to restore you fully and to keep you.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who longs to return to You. We ask for true godly repentance and living faith, cleanse and forgive and restore fellowship with You. Heal backsliding and heal the body, bring health and strength. Deliver from the devil and from every bondage and stronghold, let the enemy flee as we submit to You. Expose every scheme of the enemy and let no weapon formed against Your child prevail. Guard and protect, help and provide through every trial, supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Establish this life on the rock of Christ and let Your restoration be complete, that this one may walk in newness of life and in victory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing this so openly. It takes humility to ask for prayer to return to the Lord and to name the need for deliverance, healing and restoration. We hear how much you want to be close to Jesus again and to be free from what has held you.

It helps to have someone alongside you for prayer and accountability as you turn toward Christ again and step away from old patterns. Healing and growth tend to unfold gradually as you keep seeking Him day by day, and you do not have to walk this alone.

Father, we bring our friend before You through Jesus Christ. You see the desire to repent and trust You again. Draw near, protect and provide through these trials, bring healing to body and heart, and set free from every bondage that entangles. Your cry has come before the Lord and before His people, and it is a hopeful sign that you desire to return, to repent, and to be restored. There is great mercy in such a longing, for it shows that the Spirit of God is at work in you.

You ask for repentance and faith unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Take care to seek that true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, a fallen nature washed and brushed but still fallen, which gives no glory to God and leads to no lasting deliverance from sin. But true repentance gives God glory. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. Ask yourself before the Lord whom no man can deceive, is your repentance one that leads you to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only. For repentance and faith are inseparable. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart go together. The repentance which purges the soul from dead works and the faith that fills the soul with living works cannot be divided. Where there is true repentance, that godly sorrow for sin that needs not to be repented of, there is the full and free forgiveness of all sins. Repentance is to be preached in the name of Jesus, as the gift of God, and remission follows it. Repentance lives as long as faith, and sweet sister Repentance is charming company all the way to the gates of pearl.

You ask for healing for your backsliding and body, and for health. Hear the promise, I will heal their backsliding. If there is any soul who now sincerely closes in with God's way of salvation, and would gladly find deliverance from every sin, such a man may be assured that he is one of those of whom God has said this. Do you hate your backsliding. Then healing lies in two things, forgiveness of its sin and release from its power, and indeed there is a fourfold healing. First, all the sin of it is forgiven. Second, the power of it is broken. Third, the temporal chastisement with which He has visited you is taken away. Fourth, there is the restoration of lost comfort, when we receive beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning. Do not believe, O penitent wanderer, that His mercy is gone forever. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

You ask for deliverance from the Devil and from enemies, that their schemes be exposed and fail, and that God would help, protect, deliver and provide through your trials. Deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. Our deliverance was attended with the slaying of the Lamb, and He brought them forth also with silver and gold, enriched and not merely rescued. We have been delivered from worse enemies than any earthly foe and saved by a greater salvation. You may have stayed at the brook Jabbok full of fear and trembling, praying Lord give deliverance from him whom I think bloodthirsty, but God is able to make even enemies to be at peace and to bring you forth with His own hand. He will not share the honor of your deliverance, for it must be of free grace only, yet He asks your hearty assent and consent to His salvation.

Let us pray together.

O Lord God, look upon this returning soul who confesses backsliding and seeks Thy face. Grant true repentance unto life, not a passing sorrow but a practical repentance that yields works meet for repentance and that lasts. Create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. Give faith to look out of self to Christ alone, to trust in the Lamb slain for remission of sins. Forgive all the sin of his backsliding, break its power, remove Thy chastening hand in mercy, and restore unto him the joy of Thy salvation. Lay Thy healing hand upon his body, for Thou art the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing beneath His wings. Protect him, provide for him, and deliver him from the snares of the Devil and from every bondage and stronghold. Expose the schemes of the enemy and cause them to fail, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Bring him forth out of captivity by Thine outstretched arm, and enrich him with Thy grace. Keep him through this temporary state in Jesus until he comes to that bliss which cannot be taken away. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
