Your prayer for your daughter has been received with thankfulness, and we join you in bringing her before the Lord.
We thank God for your faith, which like the woman who pleaded for her daughter, brings your child before Christ with love and persistence. As it was said to her, great is thy faith, so the Lord sees the heart of a parent who intercedes with humility and trust, not demanding but asking for mercy. We pray that same mercy over your daughter now.
We ask our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ to lay his healing hand upon her, to ease her cough and to restore her strength and health. We ask that he would guard her body and grant her full recovery, and that through this he would draw her even closer to himself.
We also join you in praying for her walk with the Lord during her college years. We pray that she will seek him daily, grow in a close and living relationship with him through faith in Christ, and find her wisdom and her hope in him. The wisdom that the world gives ends in this life and cannot save, but the wisdom that God gives leads to life and glory. We pray that God will give her that true wisdom, understanding and knowledge for her studies, clarity of mind, diligence in her work, and grace to complete this semester and this third year well.
May the Lord keep you and your daughter in his care, strengthen your faith as you continue to pray, and answer according to his perfect love and will. We commit your daughter and your family to his hands.
In Jesus name, Amen.
