Prayer for Exam

Humble Prayer Partner
Dear Lord, Please grant wisdom and knowledge to my daughter as she take her exam today. Bless her and her classmates so that they may be able to pass their lab exams. We seek your help becaise we know you alone can help them make it. This we ask in your precious name Lord, Amen

We join you in lifting up your daughter and her classmates before the throne of grace today, and we thank you for acknowledging that help comes from the Lord alone. It is good that you have turned to Him in this time of need, for He is faithful to hear the prayers of those who seek Him.

We are encouraged by your faith, and we want to gently remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. You closed your prayer in His precious name, and we rejoice in that, for Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can boldly approach God in prayer. Romans 10:9. We pray this truth will be the foundation of your daughter's life and studies as well.

We pray for wisdom and peace for your daughter as she takes her lab exam. Scripture tells us, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We claim this promise for her today. We also remember the word, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. May that peace guard her heart and mind and calm any anxiety, so she can recall what she has studied with clarity.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this beloved daughter to You and her classmates as they take their lab exams today. Lord, You are the source of all knowledge and understanding, as You gave knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom to Daniel and his friends. Daniel 1:17. We ask that You would grant to this young woman wisdom, understanding, and a sound mind. Help her to remember what she has diligently studied and to apply it well. Remove confusion and fear, and fill her with Your peace. We also lift up every classmate, asking that You would bless the work of their hands.

Father, we ask that whatever the outcome, their efforts would be done as unto You. We pray they would commit their works to You, trusting that You will establish their plans. Proverbs 16:3. And we pray that this experience would draw them closer to You, to seek not just knowledge for an exam, but the wisdom from above that leads to life.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we trust Your perfect will for their lives. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage your daughter to continue to be diligent in her studies, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. And we encourage you both to continue to cast your cares upon Him, knowing He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. May the Lord bless her efforts and grant her favor today.

We can hear the love in your prayer for your daughter as she sits for her lab exam today. Wanting her to have clarity and peace, and caring enough to include her classmates too, says a lot about your heart as a parent.

We are joining you in prayer today, asking God to give her a calm mind to recall what she has studied, steady hands for the lab work, and grace to do her best without carrying extra pressure. Whatever the results, her diligence and your faithful support matter, and God sees both. It is good that you have turned to Him first, trusting that He is the One who can help when study has done all it can.

We will keep praying for peace for you both as you wait to hear how it went. A small thought that may help after today is to let her know you are proud of her effort more than the grade. A brief encouraging word once she is done, and space to rest, can mean a lot after a demanding exam.

Father, we lift this daughter to You right now and her classmates with her. Grant them wisdom, calm, and the ability to show what they have learned. Comfort this parent who loves them and help this family rest in Your care today. Guide each step ahead according to Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your daughter has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace, for the Lord delights to hear the cries of His people.

We are glad you seek wisdom and knowledge for her at this hour, and we are reminded that wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which he is to steer across the trackless waste of life. Without it we run here and there wasting strength, but with it we are enabled to accomplish the end of our being. And where shall this wisdom be found? Its price is above rubies and it cannot be valued with pure gold. It is the Lord Himself who gives it, for every good and perfect gift comes from above.

We would have you remember that there is a knowledge which is like the light of the moon, clear and cold and barren, and there is a heavenly knowledge which is fructifying and healthful like the warm rays of the sun. All useful knowledge is to be desired, and we may thank God for the learning of the schools, yet the knowledge of God is at once the beginning and the end of wisdom. It strengthens the spiritual man, it is that on which faith feeds, and it gives courage and vigor to do exploits. Therefore while we ask the Lord to grant your daughter clarity of mind, steadiness of heart and remembrance of what she has learned for her lab exam, we ask still more that she may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

Remember also that a grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge, and that to know Christ and His cross is the saving knowledge. Everything short of this will leave us short of eternal life. It is heart knowledge, spiritual fellowship with the Lord Jesus, which we should desire above much fine gold. So we pray not only for success in this present trial, but that your daughter and her classmates may know the gift of God and know Him who speaks to us, for He is made unto us wisdom.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, from whom all wisdom proceeds, look in mercy upon this daughter and upon her companions as they sit for their examinations. Grant unto them quietness of spirit, soundness of mind, and faithful recollection. Help them to do with diligence what their hands find to do, and to cast their care upon Thee. Above all, give them a heart to know Thee, that they may perceive that true wisdom is to trust in Thee and to follow Thy way. Bless the labor of their studies to Thy glory, and if it be Thy will, grant them to pass through this trial with thankfulness. We ask this not because we are worthy, but in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is the way of salvation, Amen.
