We join you in lifting up your daughter and her classmates before the throne of grace today, and we thank you for acknowledging that help comes from the Lord alone. It is good that you have turned to Him in this time of need, for He is faithful to hear the prayers of those who seek Him.
We are encouraged by your faith, and we want to gently remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. You closed your prayer in His precious name, and we rejoice in that, for Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can boldly approach God in prayer. Romans 10:9. We pray this truth will be the foundation of your daughter's life and studies as well.
We pray for wisdom and peace for your daughter as she takes her lab exam. Scripture tells us, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We claim this promise for her today. We also remember the word, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. May that peace guard her heart and mind and calm any anxiety, so she can recall what she has studied with clarity.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this beloved daughter to You and her classmates as they take their lab exams today. Lord, You are the source of all knowledge and understanding, as You gave knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom to Daniel and his friends. Daniel 1:17. We ask that You would grant to this young woman wisdom, understanding, and a sound mind. Help her to remember what she has diligently studied and to apply it well. Remove confusion and fear, and fill her with Your peace. We also lift up every classmate, asking that You would bless the work of their hands.
Father, we ask that whatever the outcome, their efforts would be done as unto You. We pray they would commit their works to You, trusting that You will establish their plans. Proverbs 16:3. And we pray that this experience would draw them closer to You, to seek not just knowledge for an exam, but the wisdom from above that leads to life.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we trust Your perfect will for their lives. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage your daughter to continue to be diligent in her studies, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. And we encourage you both to continue to cast your cares upon Him, knowing He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. May the Lord bless her efforts and grant her favor today.
