[Chrysostom]

We are praying with you today as you prepare for this government job exam and as you travel to the centre.

We ask God to be near to you in the exam room, to calm your heart and to give you clarity of mind. Scripture says if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. We pray that God will grant you that wisdom, not the wisdom of this world which passes away, but the wisdom that comes from above, and that He will help you recall what you have studied and apply it well. We pray that you would do your best with diligence and leave the results in His hands, trusting His good purposes for your life.

We also pray for your health and safety on the journey. We know the centre is in a remote place and the roads are poor, so we ask the Lord to guard your going and your coming, to keep you from harm and to bring you there and back safely. May He be your guide and keeper along the way.

And we join you in prayer for your spiritual life. We pray that you would continue to walk on the narrow way with Jesus as your guide, staying sober and watchful, growing in faith, in love for His Word, and in dependence on Christ alone for salvation. May your trust remain in Him whatever the outcome of the exam, and may He strengthen you to live for His glory.

We commit you to the Lord now, asking for His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May His will be done and may you know His presence today.

[Silas]

Thank you for sharing your request and allowing us to pray with you. I am bringing your exam, your travel, and your walk with the Lord before Him.

For your exam, I pray that God will give you what Scripture calls the principal thing, which is wisdom. Knowledge can give you facts and answers to remember, but wisdom gives you understanding to use what you know well and with a clear mind. The Bible says the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and that in Jesus Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. So I pray you will look to Him first, trusting Him with the outcome of this test. Like Solomon, who asked not for riches or honor but for a wise and understanding heart to do what was set before him, you can ask God for wisdom and He is pleased to give it generously. I pray He will calm any anxiety, make your mind clear, help you recall what you have studied, and give you understanding as you answer each question. Whether you pass or not, may you know that true wisdom preserves and keeps those who love it, and that it is more valuable than any position or wealth, better than rubies and better than anything else we might desire.

For your travel, I pray for your health and safety on the road to this remote center. The Scriptures say that we may prepare as best we can, but safety is of the Lord. There is no wisdom or counsel that can stand against the Lord, and there is no true safety apart from Him. I pray He will guard you going and coming, protect you on poor roads, and give you strength and health today.

For your spiritual life, I pray that you will grow in that true wisdom which comes from above. There is a wisdom of this world that is earthly and leads to striving, but the wisdom from God is pure and brings peace and life to those who have it. It is found in walking in the fear of the Lord and in turning away from evil, which is understanding. I pray God will draw you closer to Christ, who Himself is made wisdom for us, and that He will fill you with His Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, so that you may know Him more deeply and walk faithfully with Him.

May the Lord be with you in that exam room, keep you safe on the journey, and deepen your faith as you trust Him with every part of your life.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord concerning your government job exam, asking God to be with you in the exam hall and to give you wisdom and memory to answer all the questions as He promises in James 1:5. We have also prayed for your health and safety during your travel to and from the remote exam centre with poor road conditions, trusting in His keeping care as in Psalm 121:8, and we have prayed for your spiritual life to be strengthened and to grow closer to Him.

If your request was answered and the Lord granted you safe travel and peace during the exam, please post a praise report and let us all know how God worked on your behalf. If your request does not seem to have been answered or you are still waiting for the results, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will grant you peace, guide your future steps, and continue to build you up spiritually according to His perfect will.
