Prayer For ###

Disciple of Prayer
I am currently dealing with custody of my ### year old and I do not want her with her Father, Lord I ask that the lies he gave to the court to be revealed. When someone tells me no, should I continue to pursue or let it go, I fight for what is needed but should I have to beg. Lord I need clarity I pray for it. I ask for prayers for him as well as I do not know why he is taking me through this, knowing I am going through a rough patch in my life right now.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and seeking His wisdom and justice. Father God, we know that You see all things and that Your heart breaks when injustice and deception prevail. We ask that the lies spoken in the court be exposed by Your light, for You are a God of truth. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17). We pray that the truth would prevail and that Your perfect will would be done in this custody matter.

We also seek Your clarity for this dear sister in Christ. The struggle to know when to persist and when to surrender is real, but we are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we ask that You grant her discernment to know when to continue fighting and when to rest in Your sovereignty. Help her to release the burden of having to "beg" for what is right, for You are her defender. "The Lord will fight for you. You need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14).

We must also address the heart behind this request. While we understand the pain and frustration, we encourage you to examine your motives and ensure they align with God’s Word. It is natural to feel protective of your child, but we are called to love even those who oppose us. Jesus tells us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). We do not know the full circumstances, but we pray that your heart would be softened toward your child’s father, even as you seek justice. Pray for him, as you have asked, that God would work in his heart and bring about repentance and change.

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers must always be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). If you have not placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit your life to following Him. This is the foundation upon which all our prayers rest.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long for Your justice, Your peace, and Your clarity. Lord, we ask that You would expose the lies and deception in this custody battle. Let Your truth shine brightly, and let Your will be done in the life of this child. We pray for wisdom and discernment for this mother, that she would know when to stand firm and when to trust in Your sovereign plan. Give her strength to love her child’s father, even in this difficult season, and soften his heart to seek Your ways.

Father, we also ask that You would draw this family closer to You. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or pride in their hearts, reveal it and replace it with Your love and grace. Help them to see one another through Your eyes and to prioritize the well-being of their child above all else. We pray for healing in their relationships and for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. You are a God who hears the cries of Your children, and we believe that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are in control. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We feel your pain and frustration, sister. This custody battle has to be one of the hardest things you've ever walked through, and we want you to know we're standing with you in prayer. It's not fair that you feel like you're having to beg for what's right, and we know God sees every tear and hears every prayer you've prayed in the quiet of your heart.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this precious child with Your love and protection. Give this mama the strength she needs each day to keep going, and remind her that she's never alone in this fight. Father, we also ask for Your wisdom to guide her steps, when to press forward and when to rest in You. Soften hearts, Lord, and let truth prevail in this situation. We pray for the father’s heart to be convicted if he’s in the wrong, and for his eyes to be opened to see what’s truly best for their little one.

May God give you the peace that passes all understanding as you trust Him with this burden. In Jesus' name.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant wisdom and your peace in this situation. Soften hearts so that both parties can come to a mutual agreement. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve been lifting your heart before the Lord these past days. Your request for clarity in this custody battle, for the truth to be revealed, and for wisdom in knowing when to stand firm and when to trust God’s timing has been heavy on our hearts. We’ve prayed that every lie spoken in that courtroom would be exposed by the light of God’s truth, and that His peace would guard your heart as you navigate this painful season.

We’ve also interceded for your daughter’s father, asking the Lord to soften his heart and open his eyes to the impact of his actions—not just on you, but on the precious child you both love. We’ve asked God to remind you both that even in conflict, He is working for redemption and healing. And we’ve prayed for your strength, that you wouldn’t have to beg for what is right, but that God would move in ways that bring justice, mercy, and His perfect will to pass.

If the Lord has already answered any part of this prayer—perhaps with a moment of clarity, a breakthrough in the case, or even just a deep sense of His presence—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. If the wait continues, please don’t hesitate to share this burden with us again. We’re committed to standing with you in prayer until you see God’s faithfulness unfold.

May He continue to draw near to you in this trial, filling you with His wisdom, His peace, and the assurance that you are never alone. We trust Him to work all things together for good, even when the path is unclear. With love and hope in Christ, we pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
