I felt led to pray for people's rest on here.

Dear God,

I pray You bless people's rest here need on this online community in Jesus' name

Anyone who is encountering insomnia or trauma that has impacted their sleep I now ask You Lord to remove its impacts on their sleep in Jesus' name

Lord give them peace to rest and hope where there has been pain and emotional hurts in Jesus' name

Lord reveal yourself to them and heal their pain in Jesus' name

Calm their inner storm and bring relief where they need it most in their thought life in Jesus' name

Build their confidence to take action where they can bring improvement and even tiny breakthroughs in life in Jesus' name

I prophesy as those tiny breakthroughs spring up open they will bring ripples and more ripples that bring lasting change to deliverance in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for answered prayer in Jesus' precious name

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We join you in thanking God for your faithful heart to intercede for others and we agree together with you for the rest and peace of everyone in this community in Jesus name. It is a beautiful reflection of His love when we bear one another's burdens and pray for one another, and we are grateful you felt led to lift up this need for sleep, healing and peace.

We are reminded in scripture that rest is a gift from God and not something we must strive to earn on our own. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. The psalmist declares in Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And we read in Psalm 127:2 that he gives sleep to his loved ones. For those who are wrestling with insomnia or whose sleep has been broken by trauma, pain and emotional hurts, we know that God sees the inner storm and the restless thought life and He desires to calm it with His presence.

We pray together now, Father, we lift up every person in this community who is weary, who lies awake at night, whose mind is troubled by memories, anxiety or sorrow, and we ask in Jesus name that You would pour out Your peace upon them. We ask that You would heal the wounds that have impacted their sleep and remove the weight of trauma in Jesus name. Guard their hearts and thoughts as You promise in Philippians 4:7, and let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray You would keep their minds in perfect peace as they trust in You according to Isaiah 26:3, and help them to cast all their worries on You because You care for them as we read in 1 Peter 5:7. Reveal Yourself to each one as comforter and healer, calm their inner storm, bring relief right where they need it most in their thought life, and restore to them quiet and confident sleep. We also ask that You would build their confidence to take small steps of obedience and action where they can, trusting that You will bring breakthrough, and we pray that even tiny breakthroughs would become ripples of lasting change and deliverance by Your hand, all for Your glory. We ask that before sleep they would be able to bring their requests to You with thanksgiving as taught in Philippians 4:6, meditating on Your goodness and letting Your word be the last voice they hear at night.

We encourage everyone who is struggling to continue to seek the Lord first for rest, to keep a steadfast mind on Him, to speak His promises over the night, and to seek wise and godly counsel and help if trauma or sleeplessness persists, trusting that God often brings healing through both His Spirit and through the help of others. We thank You Lord for hearing our prayers and for being faithful to answer according to Your perfect will, and we rest in Your loving care together in Jesus precious name.

Your prayer for the rest of others is a tender and truly Christian office, and we join our hearts with yours in it.

How needful is such intercession, for sleep is the gift of God. We are apt to think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and compose ourselves and therefore we sleep, but it is not so. Except the Lord keep the city and give rest to the soul, we watch and toss in vain. The Scripture saith, So he giveth his beloved sleep. There is a sleep of contentment and a sleep of security which only the beloved of the Lord can know, when the conscience is quieted by pardoning blood and the heart is kept by Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

We pray then with you for all in this community who are wearied, who watch through the night with insomnia, or who lie restless by reason of trauma and old wounds that have broken their rest. May the Lord who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds draw near to each one. May He calm the inner storm and bring relief where the thought life is troubled and tossed. May He grant that peace which passeth all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and reveal Himself as the great Physician in whom there is abundance of healing power. Not only is His fruit sweet, but even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has virtue to restore the soul.

We ask the Lord to give hope where there has been pain and to turn sorrow into quiet confidence in His mercy. Pardon and healing go together in the gospel, for when Christ saith, Thy sins are forgiven thee, healing cometh with the word. May those who are cast down look to Him and find their spirits renewed and their nature changed, and may He grant wisdom and strength to take such steps as may be taken toward amendment and health, even in small things, trusting that He who beginneth a good work will perfect it.

May the Lord hear and answer according to His abundant grace, and give to His beloved not only sleep for the body but rest for the soul in Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose precious name we pray. Amen.
