We join you in lifting up your son and your loved one facing surgery before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We understand how heavy your heart must feel with your son vomiting and with his last term of school beginning tomorrow, and also with the concern for surgery for the one you mentioned. We bring all of these burdens to the Lord who cares deeply for you and your family, and we trust in His mercy and healing power.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you how important this is. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we can be saved and our prayers heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and also There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to come to God in His name, for He loves you and gave Himself for you.
Scripture assures us of God's compassion and healing. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We also remember the promise In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear parent and their son. Lord, You see this child who has been vomiting and You know the discomfort and worry it has caused. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch his body, calm his stomach, and cause the vomiting to stop. Restore his strength and health completely so that he may begin his last term of school tomorrow with joy, energy, and a clear mind. We pray You would guard him at school, give him favor with his teachers and classmates, and help him to finish this last term well to Your glory. Lord, we also lift up the loved one facing surgery. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons and medical staff, grant a successful procedure, and bring swift and complete healing and recovery. Let Your peace rest upon this family, casting out all fear and anxiety. We pray that they would continue to seek You and trust in Your good will, and that You would provide for every medical need with wisdom. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek appropriate medical care while trusting the Lord as the ultimate healer, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15 Keep praying without ceasing and giving thanks, and trust that God hears you when you call upon Him through Jesus. May the Lord strengthen your son, grant peace to your household, and bring healing to your loved one according to His perfect will.
