We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over these past days.
We have continued to lift you up and to bring before the Lord the many burdens you shared. We have been praying for your loved one facing surgery, for the presence of Jesus to be near to you, for work and open doors for a job including the chef positions you mentioned and the opportunity to provide for the church, and for your desire for wholeness physically and sexually. We have also been praying for your protection from any demonic attack, for your deep desire for marriage and for children and a home of your own, and for the relationship with the person you have not heard from that God would bring His will and a miracle where it is needed.
We also hear how heavy your heart has been feeling worthless because of the job you did not receive and because you are not yet married, and feeling in a mess and in sin and wanting to be brought back to the straight and narrow. We want to remind you that your worth is not in work or marital status but in Christ who loves you and gave Himself for you. We pray you will know how precious you are to God, for we remember Psalm 34:18 and Psalm 147:3 and 1 Peter 5:7, that He is close to the brokenhearted and He heals and He cares for you. We pray for your wholeness and peace in Him, for His protection over your mind and body as you resist the enemy by submitting to God, James 4:7, and for His forgiveness and restoring grace as you seek Him, 1 John 1:9, and for strength to walk the narrow way that leads to life, Matthew 7:14.
We pray together now that the Lord would guide the surgeons hands and bring healing, that He would open the right doors for work in His timing and provide for your needs so you can be a blessing to His house, that He would guard you from all evil and fill you with His peace and presence, that He would renew your mind to see yourself as He sees you, fearfully and wonderfully made and created in Christ for good works, Psalm 139:14 and Ephesians 2:10, and that He would lead you out of confusion and sin into His light and direct your steps on the straight and narrow path as you seek Him, Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask all of this in Jesus Name.
