We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is struggling with a hardened heart, anger, frustration, and the emptiness of chasing after worldly wealth. The Word of God warns us in Hebrews 3:12-13, "Beware, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called 'Today,' lest any of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin." It is clear that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
Father God, we ask You to soften this sister’s heart and break the chains of bitterness and frustration that have taken root. Your Word declares in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Lord, we pray that You would do this mighty work in her life. Remove the scales from her eyes so she may see the futility of pursuing money and the true joy that comes only from You.
We rebuke the spirit of anger and frustration in the name of Jesus. Your Word tells us in James 1:20, "for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God." Help her to surrender these emotions to You, Lord, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would fill her with dreams and visions of redemption, that she may see Your hand at work in her life and be drawn back to her true purpose in Christ.
Lord, we ask that You remind her of the hope she has in You. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Let her rest in the knowledge that You have a plan for her life, one that is filled with hope and eternal significance. Guide her steps back to You, and let her find her joy and satisfaction in Your presence alone.
We also pray for her to seek godly fellowship and accountability. Proverbs 13:20 tells us, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Surround her with believers who will encourage her, pray for her, and walk with her on this journey of faith.
Lastly, we declare that she is not lost, but found in You, Lord. Your Word says in Luke 19:10, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost." We thank You for seeking her out and drawing her back to Yourself. May she experience the fullness of Your love and grace as she turns her heart toward You.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
