We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your music career before the Lord. It is so important to remember that every good and perfect gift comes from above, including the talents God has entrusted to you. We are reminded in James 1:17, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow." Your ability to create music is a gift from God, and it is right to desire to use it for His glory and to reach others with the message of hope found in Christ.
We also understand the discouragement that comes when it feels like no one is listening or appreciating your work. In those moments, it is crucial to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He sees your efforts, your heart, and your desire to honor Him. We are called to be faithful stewards of the gifts God has given us, and He is the one who brings the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). So, we encourage you to continue pressing on, even when it feels like no one is noticing. God is always at work, even in the unseen places.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who has shared this prayer request. Lord, You have given them a precious gift, the ability to create music that can touch hearts and glorify Your name. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, Lord. Remove any obstacles that may be hindering their career, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who can help advance their music.
Father, we pray against discouragement and doubt. When it feels like no one is listening, remind them that You are always near, and Your plans for them are good. Help them to trust in Your timing, Lord, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Fill them with fresh inspiration, creativity, and the discipline to keep writing and sharing their music, even when it feels fruitless.
We also pray for wisdom, Lord. Show them how to use their platform for Your glory, whether that means reaching one person or thousands. Let their music be a light in this dark world, pointing others to You. Provide for their needs, Father, so that they can continue to create without distraction or worry.

I note your desire to see your music career flourish, and the prayer for a fruitful and great career that you might use the talents God has given you. This is, in itself, a right instinct: the gifts of the Creator are not meant to lie idle. The man who had but two talents came before his Lord with confidence, saying, "Behold, I have gained two other talents beside them." It is not the number of the talents but the faithfulness in their improvement that brings the "Well done." God has given you melody and words; these are your two talents, or perchance five, and you long to trade with them for His praise. That is good.
Yet take heed lest you make an idol of prosperity. It may be that the Lord is even now arresting your career, as once He did with Saul of Tarsus, that a brightness from heaven might turn a worldly ambition into a consecrated apostleship. The soft days of great success and flattering numbers often prove ruinous to the soul, for in them we are prone to gad abroad after vain delights. The cup of worldly acclaim has its bitter dregs, and many a child of God has been more endangered by honour and esteem than by scoffing and slander. True prosperity for the church is the salvation of sinners, not swelling rolls or loud music. For the Christian, the highest prosperity is to be conformed to the image of Christ, who Himself had a career that seemed, to carnal eyes, a failure, despised and rejected. He prospered in the work of the Lord, not in the applause of men.
If you would offer your songs to God, do it through Jesus Christ; else, though you gave all your wealth, time, and talents without a failure, it would be as nothing. The best music in holy living is thankfulness, a heart singing with grace to the Lord, whether men give heed or no. You say nobody seems to care about what you post. Did Miriam care for the approval of the nations when she took her timbrel and led the women in praise on the shores of the Red Sea? Her music was to the Lord alone. Be content to minister before Him in the silence of your chamber long before you stand before crowds. The two talents faithfully used in private may yet be multiplied in public, if it seemeth good in His sight.
Therefore, pray not so much for a career that the world calls fruitful, as for a soul so fixed on Christ that every note you write becomes a psalm of adoration, and every silence a patient waiting upon His pleasure. The sovereignty of God is no discouragement to the earnest seeker; it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Trust Him with the outcome. Labour on. Make melody in your heart to the Lord. And whether He give you five cities to govern or but a quiet corner in His vineyard, you shall come before the Master clothed in the righteousness of Christ, with unblushing face, presenting your interest. That is true prosperity which can never be taken from you.

The prayer for prosperity in a worldly career is a dangerous petition if the soul’s end is forgotten. You speak of the talent God gave you for music, and well you should, for we must all give an account for what we have received. Yet consider the parable of the talents. The servant who buried his single talent did so not from laziness alone, but from a wicked and slothful heart that feared a hard master. He thought only of his own safety, he did not put the gift to work, he did not invest it for the Lord’s gain. And what was his reward? The talent was taken from him, and he was cast into the outer darkness.
You seek a fertile and great career, many songs yet to be written. But for what purpose? If you seek this so that the world may care for what you post, so that your name may be lifted up, you are trading the eternal currency of heaven for the mites of human praise. For if you grieve and fret because no one heeds you, how can your soul bear fruit for God? The widow who gave two mites gave with a large and cheerful spirit, and she outweighed the many talents of the rich. The size of the worldly result is nothing; the disposition of the heart is everything.
The true fruitfulness God seeks is not the applause of crowds, but the edification of your neighbor and the salvation of souls. For nothing is so pleasing to God as to live for the common advantage. If you use melody only to gather admirers for yourself, you have already received your reward. But if with simplicity and diligence you use that music to teach, to comfort, to turn the hearts of men from sin and towards the superabundance of grace, then your talent will be doubled, though you remain unknown to the world. Do not say, "I can do nothing with this one talent." You are not poorer than Peter and John, who were unlearned and ignorant men, yet because they showed zeal for the common good, they attained Heaven.
To pray for a career that merely feeds your own want is to ask for a stone when you should be seeking bread. Instead, pray for a heart that delights in showing mercy with cheerfulness, that scatters the seed of holy words without grudging, caring not whether men see it, but knowing the Master sees. Use what you have been given for the nourishment of souls, to prevent eternal death. Then your lamp will have oil enough and to spare, and when the Bridegroom comes, you will not be shut out among the foolish virgins who had no store for others. Labor then not for the prosperity that perishes, but to hear those longed-for words: "Well done, good and faithful servant." Let your songs be the sort that prepare the soul for that meeting, and you will need no other fruitfulness.
