We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, seeking His mercy and divine intervention in this difficult situation. The Word of God reminds us in **Proverbs 3:5-6**, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is a time for your son to lean fully on the Lord, trusting that His will is perfect, even when circumstances seem uncertain.
We also remember the promise in **Romans 8:28**, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Though this trial is painful, we pray that God uses it to refine your son’s faith, teaching him discernment and wisdom for the future. May he recognize that any protection or favor he receives is not by chance but by the mercy of God alone.
The Bible also calls us to repentance and righteousness. If your son has strayed in any way—whether through association, poor choices, or lack of wisdom—we pray he turns fully to Christ, confessing any wrongdoing and seeking forgiveness. **1 John 1:9** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Let this be a moment where he surrenders his ways to the Lord, walking in obedience and humility.
We also urge you, as his parent, to continue covering him in prayer, standing firm in faith. **James 5:16** tells us, *"The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Do not grow weary in intercession, for the Lord hears the cries of His people.
Now, let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this son who stands in need of Your mercy and protection. Lord, we ask that no charges be brought against him, that You would confuse the plans of the enemy and bring forth justice and favor in this situation. Open his eyes to see Your hand at work, that he may give all glory and honor to You alone.
Father, if there has been any wrongdoing—whether in action, association, or attitude—we ask for conviction and true repentance. Let this trial draw him closer to You, teaching him discernment and wisdom for the days ahead. Surround him with godly influences and remove any ungodly ties that may lead him astray.
Strengthen his mother in faith, Lord, as she intercedes for him. Fill her with Your peace, knowing that You are sovereign over all things. Let this family emerge from this trial with a deeper trust in You and a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We rebuke any scheme of the enemy to bring harm or condemnation. By the blood of Jesus, we declare freedom, protection, and a future filled with Your purpose for this young man’s life. May he walk in righteousness, seeking first Your Kingdom in all things.
In the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.*
