We have received your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion. It is right to care for the creatures entrusted to us, and God in His goodness watches over all that He has made, while His saving grace and eternal hope are given to us through Jesus Christ alone.
We will pray for your dog as he faces the tooth extraction on Wednesday, that the Lord would grant skill and wisdom to the veterinarian and staff, that the procedure would go safely, that pain would be eased and healing would come quickly. We also pray concerning the daily mouth spasms whose cause is not yet known, that God would reveal what is needed for proper care and would bring relief and comfort to him.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy over all creation and for Your love shown to us in Christ. We ask You to be present with this beloved dog in his need, to guide the hands that will treat him, to lessen his distress, and to grant him rest and recovery. Give wisdom to those who care for him and peace to his owner who loves him and carries this concern. We entrust him to Your kind care and ask for Your will to be done, trusting in Your compassion. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.
