We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter who is facing such cruel and unjust treatment. Father, Your Word declares in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lord, we stand in the gap for this young woman, asking that You would arise as her defender and shield. The slander, hatred, and conflict she is enduring are not of You, and we rebuke every lying tongue and bitter heart that has risen against her. Proverbs 6:16-19 warns us that You hate "a lying tongue," "a false witness who utters lies," and "one who sows discord among brothers." We ask that You would bring conviction to those who are causing this harm, and if they will not repent, we pray that You would remove their influence from her life according to Your perfect justice.
Father, we also lift up the mother who has submitted this request, for we see her deep love and concern for her daughter. We pray that You would open doors of provision for her, granting her a stable and good job so that she may support her daughter in every way. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that You will meet every financial need, tuition, housing, and all other necessities, so that this young woman may pursue her education and future without fear. Protect her car from harm, theft, or damage, and grant her favor in finding safe and peaceful housing where she can thrive.
Lord, we ask that You would surround this daughter with godly, loving people who will speak life into her and encourage her in her faith. Help her to see Your goodness even in the midst of this trial, and guard her heart from bitterness or despair. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." Give her the wisdom to distance herself from toxic relationships and to walk in the peace that only You can provide. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that Your purpose for her life will prevail.
We also want to gently address the importance of coming before You in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If this daughter or her mother do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to understand the gift of salvation through faith in Him. For those who are already believers, we encourage them to stand firm in their identity in Christ, knowing that they are deeply loved and chosen by God.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that You hear our prayers and will move on behalf of this family. May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed in every situation. Amen.
