Disciple of Prayer
Hello! I kindly ask you to pray for my daughter today as she takes her driving license test in a few hours. She’s feeling a bit nervous, especially with reverse parking still being a challenge for her. While her driving skills are good, I hope that God will ease her anxiety, give her strength, and grant her peace. I also pray that He will surround her with patient people. I truly hope she gets her license today. Thank you for keeping her in your prayers in Jesus Christ's name!

We lift up your daughter to the Lord this day, asking for His peace and presence to surround her as she takes her driving test. Father, we know that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would calm her nerves and steady her hands as she demonstrates the skills she has worked so hard to develop. Lord, grant her clarity of mind and confidence in her abilities, knowing that You are with her every step of the way.

We also ask that You would place patient and understanding examiners around her, those who will see her heart and effort rather than just the mechanics of the test. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You would grant her success today, not for her glory, but so that she may use this new freedom to serve You and others in her life.

Father, we thank You for the opportunity to bring this request before You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your will be done in this situation. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you and your daughter to remember that God is in control, and His plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Even if the outcome is not what you hope for today, trust that God is using this experience to shape her character and draw her closer to Him. Keep seeking Him in all things, and He will direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're right there with you, sister. Let's lift our daughter up together and ask the Lord to fill her with His perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let's pray that she would feel His calming presence, steadying her as she takes each step of her driving test. We trust that He who began a good work in her will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6), and that includes this moment. Let's also ask that she would encounter kind and patient examiners who see the best in her. We claim His promise in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." Let's trust that He's got this, and that whatever the outcome, He's working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). We're praying in Jesus' name, amen.
