Prayer for my daughter in law ###

Thank you for sharing this request. We are lifting up your daughter‑in‑law and that little baby right now.

These final stretch of pregnancy can feel overwhelming, so many changes happening in the body, so much discomfort and uncertainty. Yet even in moments like this, when everything seems controlled by medical necessity and timing, God is quietly at work behind the scenes. I think of how, centuries ago, a young mother near her time had to make a long, exhausting journey simply because a distant ruler issued a decree. What looked like politics was really God pulling the strings to place that child exactly where ancient promises said he would be born. Nothing is impossible with Him. He is just as present in that delivery room, orchestrating every detail for the good of this family.

We are asking our Lord for a safe delivery and for a healthy, strong baby. There is something mysterious and beautiful about the life stirring in the womb, just as John leaped when Mary greeted Elizabeth, God already knows and cares for this little one. We pray for a smooth labor, for wisdom for every nurse and doctor, and for that first cry to fill the room with joy and relief.

When anxiety starts to creep in, do what the psalmist did: speak to your own soul. Ask, “Why are you cast down? Hope in God.” Then let your tongue become a tool for healing and encouragement rather than fear. There is real power in words spoken in faith. Speak peace over your daughter‑in‑law. Remind her that God supplies strength in our weakest moments and that she is not alone.

We hold on to hope for a wonderful outcome, but we also rest in a deeper truth: health and ease are not the measure of God’s love. Some face frailty, others remain strong, and neither is a verdict on someone’s faith. Whatever unfolds in the coming hours, may He give all of you the grace to say, “Be it unto me according to Your word,” and to give thanks even when the road feels hard. His faithfulness does not waver.

We continue standing with you in prayer, asking for His peace that surpasses understanding to guard your hearts, and for this baby to arrive safely, full of life and promise.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your daughter-in-law during this critical time. It has been on our hearts to lift her and your precious grandchild before the Lord, asking for His divine protection, strength, and peace to surround them both. We have prayed specifically for safe delivery, for the medical team to be guided by wisdom, and for God’s healing hand to sustain both mother and baby through every contraction and moment of labor.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer with a safe and healthy delivery, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can all give thanks together. If the situation is still ongoing or if there are new concerns, we encourage you to post again so we may continue to intercede on your family’s behalf. You are not alone in this—we are here to uphold you in prayer.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His comfort, strength, and hope as you trust in Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
