Prayer for my daughter in law ###

We lift up your ### and this precious little life she carries with great concern and hope in our hearts. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask that You would surround this mother and child with Your healing power and divine protection.
Lord, Your Word declares in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." We trust in Your perfect design and timing, knowing that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made by Your hands. We pray for an increase in the amniotic fluid, if it be Your will, or for Your sustaining grace to carry them both safely through this delivery.
We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or complications in Jesus' name. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for strength and endurance for your ### as she labors, that she would feel Your presence and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guide the hands of the medical team attending to her, giving them wisdom and clarity as they make decisions in this critical time.
Father, we also pray for the salvation of this family. If they do not yet know You personally, we ask that this trial would draw them closer to Jesus. May they experience Your love and peace in a tangible way, leading them to place their trust in You. For "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
We pray for a safe and swift delivery, Lord. May this child be born healthy and strong, a testament to Your faithfulness and grace. We ask that You would bless this family abundantly, drawing them into a deeper relationship with You. May they raise this child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, teaching them to walk in Your ways.

It is well that you bring this dear one before the throne of grace, for only Omnipotent Wisdom can make a soul healthy or keep it so, and the same hand that formed the babe in the womb can bring both mother and child safely through the trial of birth. The lack of fluid and the early hours of labor are no surprise to our Captain, who has forearranged and foreordained all things from the beginning. He sees the end from the beginning, and in His good ship of Providence, not one of these little ones shall perish. He must not suffer one to be lost, for such is not the will of our Father. Rest beneath the wings of the eternal God; He will cover this young woman with His feathers, and under His wings she shall find warmth and safety even when flesh and heart fail.
It is natural to tremble when the flood of pain and danger rises, but remember that the Lord does not measure His love by our circumstances. Even when the waters seem shallow and the passage rough, the everlasting arms are underneath. You may sink very low in your fears, but He will bring you up again. Many a woman of a sorrowful spirit has a hard time of it, yet the Lord gives beauty for ashes. Bow your head in sweet submission, for your heavenly Father must be doing the best possible thing for this mother and child. Kick not against the goads of His wise dealings. He knows when the babe is ready to behold the light, and He knows how to make every contraction work for a safe delivery.
Let your faith be fixed upon the risen Christ. Low thoughts of self should always be associated with high thoughts of Him. When we feel our own helplessness, we are on vantage ground to receive His saving help. Pray in the language of the publican, “God be merciful to a sinner,” and trust the Savior slain. He who bore the cross will bear this burden. He will make even this anxious hour a time of blessed safety. Whether the labor be long or short, He will bring the smallest boat safe into the port of Paradise. The peace of God is never presumptuous; it is a holy peace, and you may have as much of it as you will, and suffer no harm. Lay hold upon it now, and commit both mother and child into those hands that were pierced for us. So shall your heart be calm, and you shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

The trial of childbirth is heavy, and our Lord Himself spoke of the woe of those with child in times of distress. Yet we are not to despair, for even those who seem weak may rise, and those who stand must take heed. Look upon those who suffer greater calamities, so that you may be thankful, and learn from the poor who sit in the vestibule. Let us pray that God, who heals the whole man and not the part, brings this mother and child safely through, that she may be delivered from this infirmity and find health. May He who sees the breaking of the Sabbath for a greater work grant that this labor, though painful, end in joy and strength. I join my prayers for a safe delivery and a healthy, strong baby.
