Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord.
We have been praying for your marriage and for the difficult situation you shared where your wife has chosen to leave and is taking steps behind the scenes. We are asking God to intervene powerfully on behalf of your family, to protect your daughter and stepdaughter from being caught in the middle, and to keep them in His holy and righteous care. We are also praying that the Lord will reach your wife's heart and soften it even though she seems to have no desire to change, for we know that nothing is impossible for God as His Word reminds us in Matthew 19:26. We continue to pray for justice and for God's holy will to prevail above all else, and for His peace that passes understanding to guard your heart as promised in Philippians 4:7.
We join together in prayer. Father, we bring this marriage and this family before You and ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon them. We ask that Your holy and powerful hand would deliver these daughters and cover them with Your protection. We ask that You would work in this wife's heart and draw her toward what is righteous and holy, and that Your will would be done in this home. Lord, we ask that You would give our brother peace and strength and clear guidance through these difficult times, and that You would be close to him as You are close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18. We ask all of this in Jesus name, Amen.
